That did make me laugh. That is your opinion, i think he is an excellent player and i hope we can keep next season whatever league we are in.
Why would I be bothered about Celtic? I don’t follow Scottish football.
Merely pointing out a player is not as good as our fans think he is, is not hatred.
I’ll try and be balanced here by saying overall he’s done more good than bad.Him and Fellows the only two threats on the pitch! I don't get you hatred of Johnstone, he as been a breath of fresh air. Nothing to do with him being a Celtic player is it?
However, I hope Corberan has the courage to not start him next Friday, as we looked a lot more threatening once he went off.
Yes, very true. Only Kipre and Diangana are close to Premier League standard.Neither Kipre or Diangana are anywhere near premier league standard. And Johnstone is definitely not rubbish. So i for one do not agree.
Palmer, Bartley, Townsend, Johnstone etc are all rubbish. Do you agree?
He’s played up front most games for us this season. Who do you expect to be top scorer?According to you anyone but him. You are entitled to your opinion but you have always got to have a player to slate on a regular basis. But whenever, whoever your target is, as a few good games you have nothing to say.
Need him to get fit and get some form as we aren’t winning the play offs with BTA up top.He is our leading goalscorer this season!?
A frustrating game today, for sure. The performance, like the first half of Millwall, wasn't anywhere near the level, with the majority of the XI nowhere near their best.Just read some of the posts in the in game thread! The people who boo, jeer, swear and abuse our players at the ground are no different to the people on here, and it's always the same ones, Sad really.
However, I am finding it really difficult with large sections of 'fans' around my seat. I appreciate that the Albion can be a place to let off some steam from a week at work; and when there is time to give criticism at games, I'm one of the first. With our superb home record, I get the impression people just turn up and expect us to win, but teams like Watford are littered with Premier League players - they just lack consistency.
BTA has huge limitations as a footballer and he should have buried that one in the first half. Yet, even after he scored an excellent goal to get us back in the game, when he misplaced a simple ball, there were people swearing and screaming for him to be taken off. I'm also no Adam Reach fan but to boo an Albion player coming on, when we're 5th in the league? I find it really difficult to sit and listen to. Funnily enough, he actually played quite well.
Wondering if I am the only one here?
Mods: I tried to find a relevant thread but this may need moving?
Thank god my lunch breaks over so I don't get to watch the 2nd half. You have missed a treat!
Dismal team selection. Sort it out CC
Dire, dire, direI love it when its dire!!
Furlong had two men at the back post and was held off from jumping for the header. Can't blame him for that.Oh certain people on here will mate, they would blame Furlong if he wasn't playing.
Are you referring to Dike now or Grant? Both
https://www.wba.co.uk/news/taylor-gardner-hickman-completes-bristol-city-switchI think you might be right Phil.
Joined Bristol City on a permanent deal.
Can't help thinking we've made an error here regardless of us needing funds.
Livermore with 2 identical screamers within minutes to give Val a 2 goal leadI used to get slated on here for backing Livermore, but i never wavered in my opinion. It was always the same people who now slate our own players (the same players all the time) but are nowhere to be seen when one of them as a good game Assante yesterday as an example.
Leaves to a standing ovation and his name being sung throughout the away end
In what sense ?Well you see him play like i do. In every sense. Tell me a better player in our team? Technical, speed, fitness skill shooting, passing, crossing. And that goal he scored he meant it. But for some he will do as the next scapegoat.
He is absolutely terrible. He is the best player we have got!
Phillips and maja on for Grady and Sarmiento for meGood job your not the Head Coach ain't it?
That's just evidence of how poor the squad is defensively - not a plus point for Townsend. That's your opinion, in mine Townsend is underated and definitely better than Pieters.
You aye seen many defenders in a Albion shirt then.I have seen them all from 1968 to present day. So yes i have seen many. And he is one of the worst awful. As i said it's opinions a lot on here don't rate Townsend but we missed him Friday night that's why he came on.
What about Palmer? He was excellent. I'd say Phillips was our best outfield player, followed by Kipre who did really well too.your opinion mate but Kipre is one of the worst defenders i have ever seen in an Albion shirt.
Do we want a nice guy!?No, but i can't say anymore on here i am going on personal experience with this guy, and let's just say it/him wasn't pleasant. And there is a reason this type of bloke as got where he as.
When no one else wants you and you are a yes man, eventually you'll be the last man standing.I hope i am wrong as well, But!!
I hope you're wrong and he does brilliantly, but like you I have my doubts.
