Non Sports/ Non Politics Board / Re: Car crash

He shouldn’t be driving at his age. In any event he should have enough common sense not to do so.
Why shouldn't he? It is perfectly legal.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: The Liquidator liquidated?
« on: January 16, 2019, 06:45:19 PM »
Assembly minutes confirm liquidator is shelved (temporarily atleast) due to complaints. The walkout music has also changed if you hadn’t noticed yet. Split has been scrapped and replaced by the older duo of O Fortuna and Insomnia
Complaints!! I don't believe some people. We are at a football ground not in the theatre. If they don't like what they here don't go simple.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Who really wants promotion?
« on: January 13, 2019, 10:39:51 PM »
Hard one this. I ain't Albion losing and want to win every game, but I am enjoying this season far more than I did the last 3 in the greed league. So i would prefer to stay down, but that means losing a few games. I'm more confused now than when I started to answer this question!!

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Rekeem Harper
« on: January 12, 2019, 08:50:34 PM »
Thought he did well today, Wonderful to see some pace in our midfield, particularly bearing in mind he's not played much first-team football yet and his fitness levels probably aren't quite there. He certainly looks a good long-term prospect.
Agreed I think we have a really good player here give him a good run in the team now and he will be streets ahead of Brunt and Morrison.

I dread to think what Darren will pick here.

Holgate   Dawson   Barkley   Gibbs

Phillips   Brunt   Barry

HRK   Rodriguez   Sako

Is what I think he will go for, and it will be awful.
Hegasi, Harper and Gayle play not Barkley Phillips or sako. The rest is what you said.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Stadium Expansion
« on: January 12, 2019, 12:25:08 AM »
We have had plenty of time and chances to grow the club but never have! Ambition? If they had ambition at the club we would still be in the premier league and a mid table premier team aswell. Pulis and Pardew made sure we stagnated.Get used to the idea we are a long way away from ever being an average premier league side/ club.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Stadium Expansion
« on: January 12, 2019, 12:12:16 AM »
Our stadium  is big enough, we couldn't fill it in the premier last time and if we go up this season we won't fill it then either. The reason we are selling out is because we are entertaining and winning and fans are enjoying going again if we go up all that will change again.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Harvey Barnes (on loan from Leicester)
« on: January 12, 2019, 12:05:26 AM »
Barnes as been our best player this season. Not best player for us  in this division ever. Neither was koumas but Dorrans was better than both. Didn't go missing and wasn't a bully in fact if he had shown a bit more aggression he would have been outstanding.

Just like to wish Harvey all the best for the future. Thanks for your effort, performances and goals the time we have had you, I hope you go on and have  great success  in the game. A very good player who will be missed once again good luck and thank you.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: When we sold Robson to Man Ure
« on: January 06, 2019, 08:12:24 PM »
Derek Statham was the best player we ever produced. IMO of course!

I'll be there in my usual seat in the brummy! Love the F A cup

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Darren Moore
« on: January 02, 2019, 06:54:59 PM »
I think he's overused Barnes, he should have been given a game off over Xmas he's looking jaded.
Over used? He's a young lad who should be fit enough to play at least 3 times a week.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Jake Livermore
« on: January 02, 2019, 03:53:26 PM »
He will be if the alternative is Brunt...
I hope Brunt isn't the alternative because if he is and we have 4 bad results this board will go into melt down about Darren Moore!

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Darren Moore
« on: January 01, 2019, 11:37:46 PM »
No-one should be guaranteed a starting place , and that really is the problem. The three youngsters that I named have not been given opportunities and I have personally seen sufficient of them to believe that they should have been given more.
You do not have to be a qualified coach to recognise talent, and I have seen some appalling individual performances from some our senior players which basically should have made their positions untenable but "those who are in that position" have not been brave enough to give youth it's chance. The treatment of Sam Field in particular is disgraceful, and the continued selection of Chris Brunt may ultimately cost Darren Moore his job.
I agree with some of your points, but none of us know what goes on at the club there as got to be a reason why Sam Field doesn't get game time but we will never get the real reasons why he doesn't. To be honest though what I have seen of him i havent really been impressed. My main gripe (not at you) is that people want him to make changes then when he does they say he shouldn't have changed it. IMO our squad isn't great and Darren as done a great job with the players he inherited and as turned it around and got them playing and seemingly enjoying it I am enjoying what I'm watching! And finally I backed us to win the championship at the start of the season and I stick by it.

Agree entirely, you could not make it up could you. The exclusion of Field, Harper, and Edwards is downright criminal
Why is it downright criminal? Do you have access to the training ground and see them day in day out and know for a fact what they are doing should guarantee them a starting place? Thought not so why not leave it to those who are in that position?

Play the weakest team possible, hopefully we go out. Can't afford another fixture pile-up with captain clueless' shocking attempts at 'rotation'.
I will never be able to get my head round so called fans wanting the Albion to ever lose! I hope we smash them and then go on a good cup run and I don't get people who don't want that?

No point reiterating my earlier points. 1 point out of 6 from those two game just is not good enough. I'd await Darren's analysis of it, but we all know there will be no analysis from him, there never is.
Just lay off Darren Moore mate you are getting embarrassing now. You don't like him and didn't want him we all get it  and that's your right but bloody hell.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Dwight Gayle (on loan swap from Newcastle)
« on: December 30, 2018, 11:10:51 PM »
not another 30 plus player who will be sitting on bench or god for bid take Gayles place. Moore needs to get in player's that he hasn't played against or with ffs.
Where as Moore said he wants Defoe?

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Chris Brunt
« on: December 30, 2018, 12:59:53 PM »
Brunt is/ should be finished now simply not good enough anymore. Thanks for all you've done but time to say goodbye. Livermore best midfielder yesterday until Barry come on.

Hegazi, Gayle Barry and Phillips out. Bartlet Morrison Sako and Brunt in.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Jay Rodriguez
« on: December 27, 2018, 10:40:47 PM »
Darren Moore Jay as been superb for us he is a great lad and a true professional he as done a great job in the positions we have asked him to play some of which he is not used to playing but I am sure if I asked him to play anywhere on the pitch he would. Now my take on it he as not repeat as not been playing centre forward.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Jay Rodriguez
« on: December 27, 2018, 04:52:36 PM »
I think Rodriguez is possibly the teams most underrated player. Great work-rate, intelligent movement and use of the ball and has the ability to create something or make the goalkeeper work out of nothing. Yes, he has missed some chances, but which attacking player doesn't? He has also been played pretty deep for most of the season. To all extents and purposes at times he has been playing as more of an attacking midfielder than an out and out striker. He has been crucial this season in that he gives the team balance. I see him as no less influential than Barnes or Gayle and we would miss him just as much if not as more than them if he got injured or sold.
Agree with everything you say, but some just won't have it! There prerogative though.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Jay Rodriguez
« on: December 27, 2018, 03:16:54 PM »
The good
He puts in the effort and does have a decent shot on him, pretty clinical from penalties

The bad
First touch ain't great, his continued selection means better finishers (Gayle) end up pushed wide, like what we did with Odemwingie, always bloody apologising to the opposition players
That bloody hair
Gayle as 13 and Rodriguez as 12? All good strikers miss chances at least he get's in the right positions to miss!

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Sam Johnstone
« on: December 25, 2018, 08:30:54 PM »
Hoult in his prime was number 1 for me ahead of Osborne, Godden Miller and Foster..
I'd put Osborne, Godden, Hoult and Miller in that order ahead of Foster. I have been trying to be nice as it's Christmas but I can't any longer! Johnstone is nowhere near any of the one's I have named and imo never will, he is well dodgy and at the moment I think he is a weak link i hope i am proved wrong but doubt it.
