Can we do better than BTA yes that's why we have Dike and Maja however circumstances have passed in which he has become our main striker through no fault of his own.

He's our top scorer and is beginning to look like a championship player after jumping 2 divisions. He remains one of our few sellable assets. Is beyond criticism no  but some of the flack he is getting is OTT

My team would be:

                    Palmer
Furlong kipre Pieters Townsend
              Okay mowatt
       Fellows Swift Wallace
                      BTA

Go hard and fast try get some goals and then wrap up yokusulu and if kipre was struggling also as reported Furlong to cb and pipa at right back.

Bartley injury hurt us double fold as our man of the match in yokusulu had to go cb. We missed his presence in cm. Furlong for areal presence would have been my move but hindsight is wonderful.

Thought mowatt again played well got in some great last ditch blocks and harried the ball before swift scored. Swift besides a wonder goal was poor. Fellows easily our best attacking outlet again we didn't quite have the out once he went off either.

I would have taken a point pre game and considering how the game went with Injury to Bartley and then Dike its a good point. My biggest gripe was weimann bottling that header. (If I was his teammate I would be annoyed as they ran themselves Into grou d put their bodies on the line for him to fluff a tap in)

Hopefully we can follow that up v cardiff

Hopefully, Semi will be up for it.

Into the final. After the game finished 1-1 on the 90 and nobody scored in ET. Nigeria won on penalties

Think he's on form. Shows what am able coach can do and probably competition for places with Pipa keeping him on his toes

Bench instantly looks better with the options if wiemann Johnson and the kid from West ham. Hopefully we return to winning ways and give Mowbray a baptism of fire and really thump these. Their luck v us cannot last forever

Difference in quality in the strike line the only and telling difference. Can't fault their efforts they all run through walls for the cause. Think we should have started Palmer. If he really wanted to give Griffiths a game he could have done so in a league game. Also Fellows not starting hurt us.

Yokusulu was my man of the match. BTA was a nuisance but fluffed his line when he could have taken a touch. On to the next one.

2 is a lot though

The dingles haven’t won at our place twice in over 26 years 😀

1 cup win; they still haven't won in the league. And even yesterday it was very squeaky for them. They were never comfortable better finishing from us and it would have been different.

We owe the noses one hopefully there is the right reaction Saturday and we put them to the sword

First contact was with the chest. And as Cunha goes does the forearm slips upward into his head. Definite cause for mitigation to the TMO won't be upgrading the sin bin to a red...wait, wrong sport!

Yes no attempted wrap all shoulder and forearm he would have been off In the Rugby! Hopefully no upgrade from the fa they love throwing the book at us

Free hit for us the pressure on them. Our home form and a good atmosphere will give our lads a good chance. It's the cup so never say never.

I think we probably need to score first. We have been poor all season when going behind. Come on you Baggies keep the record alive

Given the amount we invested in him, as a club we can't afford to be writing off another striker. Which is more or less what we've done with Grant.

We still have 2 years left on the aforementioned Grant's contract...

Need a big away win! And to finally find some consistency on the road. With the bodies beginning to come back to fitness and the probability of not having a bench full of defenders who knows.

I would take a point now if it guarantees us to beat the Dingles in the cup! Coyb

I'm going back further but a 1 month loan deal for Uwe Rostler who I believe did actually score!

If he can keep on improving his finishing and vision like he has been, he's going to be a very desirable player in this league, at least.

10 goals I think, so far, this season, and his work rate is phenomenal.

Brilliant today.

League 2 to the championship was a big jump he is beginning to look like this is his level now. Double figures for us with a good chunk of the season to go. He was very good today

Played v well. Tidy and tenacious.

Hopefully he starts to get more minutes. Seems like he might have more of a chance in midfield based on recent sub appearances.

Very versatile player. Prefer him over reach. He has some tricks. Technically a very good player. Would like to see him get a start at some point

Today due to senior players coming back he wasn't going to get a chance. He needs a loan deal somewhere to get a consistent run of games

I’ve been critical of Kipre, but losing both fellows and Kipre on a free would be a disaster. Genuinely think both should sign for football reasons but it’ll be financial that decide it

Considering we have so many players out of contract in summer they must be able to work out the budget if reach Kelly leave surely just for those 2 we can afford to tie Fellows down.

Score flattered Blackburn could have been 8. BTA looked all the better for having a week off last week 1 very good poachers finish one absolute stinger in the corner. Furlong seems to have hit a bit of form of late thought he played well. The mowatt yokusulu axis had a very good game. Fellows another 90 minutes and a league goal he looks confident.

Wallace and swift dike minutes unscathed nice to have options back also. Big shout out to Pipa he looked good very good. Good option off the bench. Bring on Norwich away

Bottle it? Please explain

Managers all the way back to Mowbray been treating the cup as distraction and making too many changes. If we get far enough it's harder for that to happen.

Even when we got to the semi we made hard work or Charlton I think? We did a raft or changes v Peterborough away and just had enough to squeak through. By the time we went v Coventry we were just on a run in the league and were like a juggernaut and were far enough in cup for Mowbray to take it serious enough.

Not a slight on Don Carlos (and I mean what choice did he have today with our injury list) but our club really hasn't given the cup it has deserved for 20 + years

Did well the kid. Needs a loan to get competitive football under his belt. Hopefully this cup showing gets him that move

Got in good positions had a ripping long distance effort and his finish was emphatic. Got his goal which takes pressure off himself. Got through 45 unscathed. We didn't have to risk BTA either so good days work

Lowest side in at home is what we want so we can progress far enough that the manager cannot bottle it

In the hat. Dike gets 45 minutes unscathed and scores takes pressure off himself. Fellows 90 mins goal and assist. Caleb Taylor looks quite useful also and young lad who played cm Fenton hear look good also needs a loan to get minutes. Other senior pros Bartley pieters and chalobah all did well to hold all that youth together

Fine margins and a squad that looked depleted come the end of the game. Pipa (who I would like to see more in a full back or wing back role over Townsend due to his superior technical ability) ended in the number 10 role. Reach left wing. Chalobah ajayi and pieters as subs. With the likes of BTA Furlong mowatt looking dead on their feet in that second half.

Unfortunately we need some of our attacking players back from injury- Phillips and Maja we won't see for months. Dike on the cusp, swift feeling his muscle in warm up so obviously not right, Wallace also not available. Capping off with Sarmiento being recalled and Diangana going to AFCON.

Without some reinforcements in this window our season will probably end like last season which is Don Carlos working miracles through to the end and us coming up just a little short because of our thread bare squad. Can't fault the effort today just needed BTA to finish his chance and it's a different game we may have got all 3 points or even a point.

I love the fa cup and always hate when we make so many changes but based on our injury crisis I see nothing else but wholesale changes for Sunday. Perhaps shifting Kelly or reach (or both) and Sarmiento going back gives us some option to go into the loan market.
