At least we won't have to deal with this nonsense next season.

VAR didn't even look at TAA's clear kick out.  Pierera sent off for much less.

Cheering on the Burnleys right now. They very nearly just turned a corner in.

Do fans of other clubs hold such a pessimistic view as many of ours? Has it something to do with ambition?

Interesting and valid point
With arrogance comes optimism which drives ambition this ambition can only ever be fulfilled by some though and generally it’s those with the financial muscle who can turn ambition into success!!

So arrogance and cash is the best recipe for success, the evidence is 3 miles apart in B71 and B6
the road to the summit has dips, keep the faith when navigating those dips !!

Neither Newcastle nor Fulham want to stay up it seems. If only we had been a bit more daring post Christmas, just 3 more points would have given us a reasonable chance.

A VAR check going on! Possibly Newcastle penalty...not given. Right deciision in my eyes. Peacock-Farrell made a fantastic save from Gayle's close range effort in the build up.

If only we had not been so useless for many months before that! I agree we needed to go for the throat more though.

We literally only needed a couple of draws into wins as well, nothing major. We may look at the games against the two against one another today is the lost opportunity.

This is a very poor game! Come to life in the last few minutes through set pieces.

Literally 1 win and a draw from having a real good chance of staying up. Thrown away so many points this year.  Oh well!

Think  Newcastle were a bit unlucky with possible pen. as the defender's boot was head high. However, we need Burnley to hold on here, as I think they are out of the danger zone.

You often hear it said that this club lacks ambition. Whilst its easy to blame the club management for that, I think it stems from a large part of our support. A lot have this idea we are punching above our weight in the Prem, and so are quite happy to settle for a place in the Championship. Is it surprising that the Club doesn't seriously invest against that background?

You wonder why Bruce kept St Maxima on the bench for so long. 2 goals in 10 minutes.

I'm not wearing a lack of investment is down to supporter apathy. Change it the other way around and you may have more of a point.

Yep - potentially all three being down today if they hold on.

Not mathematically of course but there is no chance of us over turning such a deficit.

8 wins to play for - 24 points available. The dreamer in me says keep hoping, the realist says you’re right
