Bottom three more or less down if Newcastle hold on to this!

8 wins to play for - 24 points available. The dreamer in me says keep hoping, the realist says you’re right

Once the points gap becomes more than the games left that's a good measure for when it becomes very, very difficult. Say we win tomorrow, it'll be 8 points with 7 to go. A win for Newcastle certainly knocks the wind out of our sails after last week.

The flaw in the survival plan was always the idea other teams wouldn’t pick up points...

Very true statement. Think it's safe to say we are down.

When you want Burnley to win they look so one dimensional. Always ends up with high cross into the box which Newcastle are ready for.

We couldn’t beat Burnley or Newcastle or Fulham In 6 games against them...

The key to staying up is picking up points off teams around you that in a nutshell is why we are going down.

The only good thing is that Newcastle now have some much tougher opponents than Burnley. Why Bruce doesn't pick St Maximim from the start, I don't know.

I still to this day do not know how we did not beat Burnley.

Those games against Burnley and Newcastle were pivotal and we’ve taken 3 points from a possible 12. If you include Fulham it’s 4 points from 18.

The match against Newcastle up here was infuriating

When you are watching two desperate teams playing desperate football in the somewhat forlorn hope that one beats the other for the sake of your survival it does rather beg the question why we managed to get 3 points from the 12 that were available.

All Albion can really do is try and hope to go on a phenomenal run al a the Darren Moore and Great Escape seasons and Leicester’s survival season and hope that the by product of that is that we overtake Fulham and catch others up but that Newcastle win is huge for them really.

It’s hard to see Brighton, Burnley and Newcastle all failing to pick up enough points to make the job easier for us. I don’t know how Burnley get points though, every time I watch them they’re awful.

He's only on loan isn't he? I assume they will buy him now but you never know

Edit: Just read they've agreed to sign him permanently

Going on strike , refusing to go on squad photo are not the actions of a good or honest pro!

It's clearly not something I'm going to overly concern myself with but Burnley are in dire need of a good summer transfer window. Squad needs refreshing.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.
Oh, and always remember to defecate on those Vile chaps in claret and spew.

The fact we only drew with Burnley was really telling. Sickened me how Pereira faffed with the ball so much during that game, we really shouldve won and comfortably. But yes, the same with both games against newcastle, we were sucker punched at SJP and bottled 2 points at home. You get what you deserve at the end of the day.

I don't remember the strike business or the squad photo but I believe what you're saying.
He continued to play to my knowledge although maybe not as consistent as previously, he gave the Albion 8 good years a fall out with the manager in his last year doesn't detract anything from me.

Just seen reports of Leicester City players breach of the Covid regulations to attend a party at Perez's house after Rogers had specifically reminded them of their obligations just days before. I should not marvel at the stupidity of professional footballers but that is beyond comprehension.
