Just a heads up to anyone interested:

The Big Match Revisited

Tomorrow on ITV4 from 8:30am to 9:30am

Series 2, Episode 1
Classic football action from 30 years ago this week. Today's featured match is Manchester United versus West Brom - played in the snow! Steve Coppell was in the United line-up, while Cyrille Regis, Laurie Cunningham and Brendan Batson - dubbed the Three Degrees by manager Ron Atkinson - were key players for West Brom.

Dont think they've got that date quite right.

Atkinson arrived just before 1978/79 and Laurie left after 1978/79, so that's affirmative. It's the famous 5-3 win at Old Trafford on 30 December 1978.

Otherwise, this is the longest video of the match I've found so far, longer than holmleighnyd's otherwise excellent version.

For example, this one has Laurie being whistled for a mysterious illegal throw-in deep in the Utd end. Houston then tries to throw in for Utd, but Brendon Batson steals it, races into the box and slides a perfect pass over to Ally Brown, who can't keep the shot down.

There are also pre- and post-game interviews.
