not knocking them, but the atmosphere tends to be poor for Wigan away because i notice a lot of our support are our older generation of fans and would rather sit down and just watch the game rather than create a normal away buzzing atmosphere.

just difference of oppinion i suppose. i hope we can make it rocking though !!
i am one of the older generation and i dont sit down in my seat i am always trying to get the crowd going especially away when i have had a few, and saturday will be no different.

Tricky one, MAF does not deserve to be dropped so going against gut feeling that Long might cause Wigan more problems.
Thomas is automatic choice if he's fit - he occupies defenders and links up well even if end product sometimes lacking.

This. But do a 50/50 with MAF and Long. Give Fortune 45 when he can tie up and tire their defenders. next half they wont keep up with Long's work rate. Dawson is useful cause remember he's scored 4 goals from 7 games internationally. not a bad Olsen replacement

I don't think Martinez will go, for two reasons. 1) it's too late to bother 2) the Chairman LOVES Martinez and i believe will try to keep him what ever happens

the 3-1 win near the end of the 08-09 Prem season

Deano started in his first game of the season, and play brilliant

Could be a bit of a struggle as ive read the Premier League have told foriegn companies that show all the 3pm games to cut down to one game per weekend(via sat being the best example).
If this goes ahead we are likely to only see the Albion streamed when playing one of the bigger teams on a 3pm Sat kick off. :(

People forget we had him in our 3-2 win over Arsenal when he had an excellent game, But we must keep condeming him for the Blackpool Game.

Better sides than us have lost 1-0 to Everton. As far not being able to see anything other than  a big win - If only it was that simple.  Wigan beat us at home, will be up for it, have some dangerous players ...if we are less than 100% we'll probably lose

Agreed but what i meant was we had been on a decent run and had the chance to beat a very under performing Everton side but just didn't turn up.

Think we'd have to be a more like 60% to lose to Wigan ...their home form is shocking and our away form is very good.
Yes they beat us at home but to be fair who wasn't beating us at home at that time. We had bugger all confidence at home then.

Won't get a stream now. Viasat which provides streams normally has been restricted to one game at 3pm. Other earlier and later kick offs can be shown but only one 3pm kick off. Probably have to resort to the old radio I think.

Martinez is still an extremely promising young manager. They'll be making a mistake if they let him go.
