Good to see some have the same attitude as the Birmingham fans had when they came to the Hawthorns early last season, they thought there would be no excuses for failing to win against little old West Brom too.

If it were a home game I would tend to see it as more of a must win but being away I see it as a must not lose with us looking for any kind of points to get going and to build on.

norwich looked good to be fair to them against chelsea with the front lad holt putting himself about, plus there support is always good and they always sell out.

id be content with a point as we need to get off the mark and with basically a full squad to choose from now it will be interesting to see if he sticks with the same team or hopefully change it with thomas coming in and dorrans for tchoyi as id go with the 5 midfielders.

hate international breaks though, iv'e gone right off england for some reason

International breaks are terrible, if you are on a good run you want to keep the momentum going and if you are on a stinking run then you can't wait to try and put things right. Then you have the situation with potential injuries to players, Shane Long being the prime example so far.

I can see where he is coming from though, as we need to be beating sides who are going to be around us. Saying that with Norwich being at home, i expect the crowd and the players to be right up for this. I'd be happy with a draw as we need to get some points on the board and get a foundation to build on.
Ohhhhh Albion we love you!

The home advantage they have is the reason I believe a draw would be a positive result especially as it would give us our first points on the board. At home I would agree but away three points are a bonus no matter who the opposition are but a point should also be seen as a positive, lets not forget they will see a game as bordering on the must win with it being at home so I'm hoping we can frustrate them and hit them on the break for a win so I'm not being negative at all I just don't see how it is a must win game as some are labeling it.

Swansea next up I will feel the same but then Fulham at home is a slightly different story where we need to look for the win. I don't see why we can't get 7 or even 9 points from those games to really get us started but would four or five be the end of the world?

Four or five points certainly wouldn't be the end of the world, I just want us to get some points on board now as the performances have been there. With the potential news of Long and Odemwingie being out this game could turn out to be a lot harder. I agree that points away from home are classed as bonus points, but these are games we should be looking to win, but yeah obviously not a 'must win' game.

Huckerby been taken out of the game by James Chambers man marking him for the whole 90 minutes. Think that was early 2004!

That was what I was going to post. That was tactically superb by Megson and one of the best performances I have seen from an Albion player in James Chambers.
