I think a similar criticism can be made of prety much all our young academy attackers to be honest. Edwards is much the same, clearly talented but doesn't thrive off responsibility.
Do you think that’s a bit more than just an Albion problem in that young players reach a certain level and then it all comes a bit to easy for them in the sense of money , endorsements etc ?

It's a pity the Albion Fans aren't there, as I'm sure we would appreciate and celebrate Harrogate Town, as they know who they are!
My posts are my personal views and any links or external inclusions are not necessarily an endorsement by me.
I'm an ordinary bloke with no hidden agenda, here just to enjoy all things Albion etc.

It's all about opinions, so don't shoot the messenger if he/she has a different view to you!

Kipré isn't great on the ball is he?

The statistical analysis types say he actually had more goal involvements than near enough any defender in the league last season, with a lot of progressive passes. He has given the ball away once or twice here though, although they do seem to be relying on him to be the main man to pass out from the back.

Button there, with a save that Johnstone would usually put back into the middle of the box. Great start from him.

Need to see it again, but HRKs shot doesn’t look like it was right in the corner. Think it looked good but It’s not beating a decent keeper as their positioning would have been better.

A good 2 or 3 feet inside the post, so I think you're right. Replay on official Twitter for reference.

It's a good goal. I said so in a previous post? Would it have beaten Alisson? No imo.

Defensively we are still such a mess. There is definitely something wrong with the work we do on the training ground. The players don’t seem to know who should be defending  certain spaces and areas.

You’d forgive it if it wasn’t very similar to how our first team is.

Any chance someone can nip up to the ground and give Don Goodman a kick when he’s finished running us down after 90mins.

We aren't playing well, he's not been particularly disagreeable today.

Let’s be honest, you would find it very difficult to name a premier league quality player on the pitch tonight.
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

I guess I’m just sick of him always doing it when he commentates on us.

From what I can hear so far then goals aside this game is better viewed on the radio.

Not a great game this is one of those ones in Champ Manager where you just put out all 11 reserves and ain’t really bothered but hope for the best. Then if you get through maybe look to get more serious

Apart from 2 decent finishes we’ve been dire. No player other than Button could push for a place in the first 11 on that showing.

Button looks calm at the back and accurate with his kicking! Did we sign him by mistake :P
