I think a similar criticism can be made of prety much all our young academy attackers to be honest. Edwards is much the same, clearly talented but doesn't thrive off responsibility.

Do you think that’s a bit more than just an Albion problem in that young players reach a certain level and then it all comes a bit to easy for them in the sense of money , endorsements etc ?

The statistical analysis types say he actually had more goal involvements than near enough any defender in the league last season, with a lot of progressive passes. He has given the ball away once or twice here though, although they do seem to be relying on him to be the main man to pass out from the back.

Defensively we are still such a mess. There is definitely something wrong with the work we do on the training ground. The players don’t seem to know who should be defending  certain spaces and areas.

You’d forgive it if it wasn’t very similar to how our first team is.

Not a great game this is one of those ones in Champ Manager where you just put out all 11 reserves and ain’t really bothered but hope for the best. Then if you get through maybe look to get more serious
