Bilic near enough confirmed he wanted an upgrade in central defence. We took a gamble on a squad player in Kipre and an old man in Ivanovic. We are currently 8 goals against in 2 games and that might be 9 or 10 before the day finishes.

Keep saying it, but transfer strategy.

Too many of our defenders not good enough. Furlong, O'Shea and Bartley.

Not just the defenders, the only players who are good enough are Pereira and Diangana
It is not the taking part, but the winning that counts.

I haven’t seen any of it and whether or not the red card was justified, Mike Dean is a terrible referee, just seems to be full of his own importance; in short, a knob.

Furlong slowing down to a halt with his hand in the air claiming for offside rather than busting a gut to stop the attacker. Sums up his game and our defence today.

Again, when that ball is chipped over the defender into the six yard box why isn't Sam Johnstone coming out and claiming it?

New Striker seems Irrelevant if we defend like this.

7 goals conceded in two games. This defence is woefully short of the quality required unfortunately.

Take Pereira and Diangana out and I doubt this team makes the top half of the championship (which is a worrying sign for next season when we lose them). It's going to be a long season.

Because he's a poor hesitant League 1 keeper.

Wasn’t Bilic a defender?

What the hell do him and his team coach in training?

I know we’re playing with 10 men but this is SHOCKING! 😡

I'm not sure really what anybody expects, we got the same team as last year that struggled across the line. It's going to be a long tough road and the objective without any further reinforcements must be to beat the 11 pt low.
