I'm expecting Leicester and Palace to do better than us for a start.

Here's a gaunlet thrown down:

You want to pull your season ticket money out the club because you're convinced we're going to get relegated and hate JP? I put it to those individuals who this applies to to put that money on us to go down. Then you could pool together and buy the club with the winnings you're so certain you'll make.

Without doubt at this moment in time we are going down.Obviously depends who else comes and goes on the playing front but when Irvine is sacked after 6 games and taking with him the other Dingle in Kelly the the other yes man Downing might be able to save our season

So there is some doubt then?

Those odds have us finishing 15th this season, which would be a bloody miracle in my books.

Qpr and Leicester will spend money to finish above us, palace have tony pulis who knows how to keep teams up. Burnley will struggle but have a decent manager but no premiership experience. Hull could struggle depending on how far they go in Europe

Didn't work for QPR last time, see no reason it would work this time.

I'm surprised we're at nearly 3-1 to be honest. I'd have thought us one of the favourites at this point.

Big spending guarantees nothing whatsoever.

that's true but it gives you, in the long term, more of a fighting chance than continually spending sod all. That will catch up on you eventually as it did with us last season.

Leicester have done nothing to suggest they are genuinely going to spend a lot of money, their only genuine links so far have been free transfers from mid-table or lower clubs. Maybe they'll go on to spend big later but they'll hardly be the first club to claim they're going to spend big round about the time season tickets are renewed, then not live up to that promise.

I'd expect if they were going to have as much to spend as they genuinely claimed, they'd have severely rivalled us over Joleon Lescott for starters/

I think us and Palace are too short at 2.53 both are at least a half point better than Leicester.  Sunderland are good value at over 4.0. Southampton were an okay bet at 7.0 but they have been backed down to under 5.0 so I wouldn't take that. If Villa go out to more than 3.5 I'd be tempted to have a small bet at that price.

I agree that Sunderland are the best value on the list and Leicester should be shorter. QPR are the worst value, if they keep Remy and get Taarabt's head on straight.

Got a few quid on Hull to go this season. Their form dropped massively towards the end of last season and they haven't really improved the squad over summer.

QPR would be one of my 3 to go down, Harry can't manage players, he can spend money.
Taraabt is a telent but also a loose cannon,
Remy? who knows what state his head is in after the Liverpool farce, maybe we could take a cheeky punt?

Barnsley, QPR and Vile IMO!

Hull, baggies, soton, palace, Leics, sunderland, newc, Stoke all there abouts too.
gap to the top 6 will widen further.

If you're thinking of putting money on this, I'd swap Barnsley for Burnley. Only my opinion mind. ;)

Southampton dropped from 12-1 to 4-1 to go down.

Depending on their signings I think they will be down there.
