Just came out of James Bond (wife booked without checking), saw 3-0, great win... then saw delayed time.  Surely we won't...? 🤐🤐🤐

Reach is on for Townsend, thought we were cheating as 4th sub but then realised City had concussion sub for Baker.

I do like the look of their. Messengo, decent player at this level and perhaps a higher level. Their best player today

Yes a decent player indeed. Stood out. Good all-rounder.

Edit - just looked and he's only 20. One to keep an eye on perhaps.

Much better performance which is what we usually get when we mix our playing style between long balls and pressing with good football on the ground.

When we just go long long long it's awful. So easy for them to play against.

Everyone played well today. Excellent performance. Should have been 6-0 in reality and that wouldn't have flattered us.

At this level we can pass it around these other teams with ease outside of Fulham and Bournemouth so i'd like us to do it more.

Keep it up.

Great result.  Possibly our best performance of the season, certainly recently.

So good to see us play some proper football and it paid off today.  Bristol had no answer to it.  We didn't rely on hoofing it forward, instead got it down and played some nice stuff.  Opening goal was a case in point - we got the ball down on the floor then some lovely 1 touch football and it's in the back of the net.

I can't really remember us opting to hoof it when we had better passing options on.

1st half was better than the 2nd half.  We got a bit sloppy 2nd half, especially at the back.  Between Ajayi, Bartley and with Molumby\Snodgrass fading we didn't push on and score as many as we could.  We could also have been taking it easy with an eye on the upcoming fixtures.

Molumby was man of the match for me - that first half was brilliant.
Hugill took his goal well but he can't be missing the chances he missed today.  He was still a massive improvement on his previous performances.  My suspicioun is he's not *that* good at holding the ball up when it's hoofed up into the air, he needs at least half a chance at getting possession of it.

Honestly, approach the games like that this season and we'll be top 4.  We've comfortably got the players and squad to do it.

The scoreline flattered them.

Nice comfortable win.

Molomby, Mowatt and Snodgrass should all be ahead of Jake in the pecking order. Nice to see us actually able to string some passes together

'Proper football' passing it to each other and trying to create opportunities, mixed with an irregular but usually well timed fast high press to try to force mistakes and gain possession in an opponents half is exactly how we should approach every game.

Pretty good performances all round. Midfield mobile enough, and far more composed and controlled with their passing. Did their share of covering and defending as well but more by anticipation than reactive chasing.

Defence generally untroubled thanks to better use of the ball in front of them, also seemed to be able to get the ball forward and to an Albion player a bit more often. Got a bit sloppy later on but thankfully nothing too stupid. Mention for SJ who looked solid and built confidence.

Up front 3 scored but could easily have, and maybe ought to have been more. Hugill scored but missed a few decent chances though he certainly played a lot better than he has previously. Led the line pretty well, worked hard and supported runners. Not a bad game.

All the rest did ok including the subs. First half better than the second. We were probably looking after the lead after the subs so they did not make any obvious improvements.  Would have liked to see TGH given a bit of first team experience, but think his time will come.

Overall a lot happier than I expected to be, long may the improvement keep developing. COYB

We should get in early, would be competition for Diangana

Looked like he was CM to me from the stream. I wasn't at the game so did not see the full open pitch though.

Well that was much better. Very good first half. Played some decent stuff at times.

I thought Molumby and Snodgrass were excellent in midfield first half, ran the game. Hugill should've had at least three but his all round game outside the box was excellent all afternoon. Led the line well, carried the ball well, held it up. Furlongs best performance for ages.

Second half we faded. Not surprising considering we had a central midfield with not many minutes under their belts but we were comfortable.

Anyone know why we were allowed 4 subs, as I presume we were because we made 4.

Only moan is I wouldve like to have seen young Gardner-Hickman given the last ten minutes or so to get that experience under his belt.
