He's as bad as McInnes, Appleton and Neil just that he's been bad at bigger clubs. Don't think he's managed/coached since he was sacked at Everton over 2 years ago, do we really want another ex Everton coach that's been out of the game for over 2 years?
Tend to agree just pointing out what’s available .

To me the big issue is that we’ve allowed our internal workings to leak. We shouldn’t never have allowed that and to be fair I felt under Peace we always used to manage this kind of stuff very professionally.

I think you need to review your expectations  :D

Rangnick is linked with some of the finest jobs in football - he's now going to be rocking up at Carters Green any time soon.

Our time for Rangnick sailed nearly 10 years ago.
On Rangnick, as coincidence would have it, he was very interested in the Schalke job a couple of months ago, when it was obvious they would be playing 2nd division next season.  Since then the bigger vacancies in Germany have been filled and noticeable that Spurs didn't seem to be in for him.

We have made 100 pages - I reckon 150 before we have a new head coach comfirmed.

If as has been hinted at compo foe Appleton wasn’t an issue doesn’t that re open the  door to other candidates that we dismissed based on earlier rumours

This is the key point.

It should never had been released to the media.

Someone at the club has threw the toys out the pram because they couldn't get their own way & the man they've implicated doesn't even want the job.

It makes this whole saga look like a farce.

It is one.

All the media comments that say "McInnes knows the club" - no he doesn't. He knew the club 20 years ago, which is a completely different thing to what we are now.
He was a brilliant captain and player for us, but other than the fact that some fans will give him time because of his 'previous service' there is no reason that counts for anything

27% win rate with Bristol City in his only job south of the border. Obviously the outstanding candidate and the best we can hope for.

The other absolute balls up in all of this is it just keeps putting us back further & further with the summer rebuild. Say if it’s Appleton that takes the job he’l have been scouting players for Lincoln he then needs to get up to speed on where we need to strengthen the squad & the suitable players available for those positions, that’s not going to be an overnight thing.

All this has been caused by an absent owner 8000 miles away who’s shown no interest in the club for 2 years & has suddenly from nowhere decided to stick his ore in. This shambles is Lai’s own doing he’s not fit to tie his own laces let alone own a football club.

To be fair to Lai, yes he is situated in China but he pays management in the UK to operate and manage the club on a day to day basis.  I think we should be looking at putting the blame with them.

This is only like any other company situated in this country with foreign owners. You can't blame the owner who is not even in the country, the blame is with the UK management. I think its time to clear the uk management out and start again.

But in the Meantime it looks to me that its going to be a joint management role for Brunt and Morrison or we could call them  B & M.  Lets face it their is a lot of cheap stuff there !!!

Or better still, don't say it at all. It's bad manners, plain and simple.

He would be a disastrous appointment.

There is not one reason as to why we should consider his appointment.

But the U.K management (with some form of football experience as loosely as you can use that with Dowling) had come to a decision to hire Wilder, this was then overruled by the guy in China who knows nothing about football & who’s shown no interest in the club in the 2 years.

This mess is 100% on Lai if it was left to the U.K board Wilder would have been announced last week.

The media generally have shown over the last few weeks that they have no more inside knowledge than any of us. They are literally just pulling names out of a hat to stimulate discussion. The only one worth looking out for is Percy.

It seems like the Board is pulling names out of a hat to interview, so perhaps the local journos aren't too wide of the mark!  ;)
