This is kind of how I'm feeling. I'd be more optimistic if we were away as the away form under Allardyce has been okay.

They have better players than us: Lookman, Anguissa, Harrison Reed, Antonee Robinson/Tete, Tosin (better than Semi???), Loftus-Cheek.

If we get a draw I'll take that as an achievement.

We're at home, the fridge is already stocked with Staropramen and my pre match food will be chicken skewers in deference to the Sportsman's tikka. I'm playing it by ear regarding naan bread. I'll be on the weights in the morning and on the ssip from about noon provided I don't drink all the beer between now and then. If I do then I'll buy more. I need no encouragement in this endeavour. Fulham beat us convincingly at their place, have a much better team, don't lose many and haven't been conceding much. We on the other hand have been conceding goals like they go out of fashion and the manager doesn't appear to have a clue what his best side is or how to set them up to play to their limited strengths at home. Only one outcome here, Albion win.

Do clubs still have to travel on the day? Iâ€™m guessing not given some of the kick off times?

A big part of the reason matches get called off in snow is the wider public safety, but without fans that may be lass of an issue. Unless we â€˜forgetâ€™ to turn the undersoil on!

Itâ€™s hard to have any cause for optimism because we have such a poor side - IMO itâ€™s the worst Iâ€™ve ever seen in the top flight since â€œmyâ€ first relegation back in 1973.

But I just hope we donâ€™t get embarrassed on national television.
