Match Fixing is a touchy subject. A lot of speculation and minimal evidence until someone makes a mistake or is caught out.
Not match fixing but take a look at the Tom Maynard tragedy. The fact that the guy he lived with was his best mate and clubbing partner and his captain yet allegedly never knew of the coke and has gone on record as such. The people with the most to lose are also those you need to unveil the illegalities.
In cricket the BCCI has finally started to come crashing down due to the match fixing in the IPL primarily from owners wanting to make their money back rather recklessly.
As in all sports you have those moments like the weekend or the 2-2 match that people could question but in reality it's just one of those things in sport. The dodgy money is in spot fixing now which is very hard to trace so we will never know until someone blabs!
