Fair do' s soz.
Don't be too hard on us negative souls though, we love the club as much as anyone, we just take the lows a bit harder.
By Wednesday the positivity and anticipation usually starts to kick back in  :)
no probs, we agree to agree  :D  COYB

Perfectly put, Liam.

He always played for KP, not the team but, just because he was/is a fantastic batsman his fawning friends made excuses for him, saying "That's KP!" (Meanwhile all his team-mates did-or-died for the team, as all sportsmen should do in a team game).
[Those who say it's no different to Ronaldo....or Maradonna.....or the other mavericks, are wrong. Cricket's a totally different game, and there are occasions when you need your best batsmen to just stay in, but KP let the team down too many times for most of his team-mates' liking.]

Also,...........every shot or bit of fielding he did he'd immediately watch himself on the Big Screen - the big-headed twot.  >:(

is that Jonathan Twot ??

You are completely missing the point, I am not slating Samaras, I am merely pointing out how quickly attitudes can change.
For what it's worth I think Samaras will be a good addition to the squad because of his unpredictable nature. He is renowned amongst Celtic fans for either being unplayable or anonymous. So far it has mainly been the latter, hence the unrest in certain quarters, against Man Ure he could come on and turn the game on it's head.
Fine margins

Steady, I haven't missed your point,
If you read again, I didn't say you had drawn any conclusions.

My point is, as you point out " unrest in certain quarters" is premature (and unfair IMO) a great example that margins of success / failure are far finer than yester-year

Georgios Samaras,
20 mins v Everton
16 mins v Burnley
3 mins v Liverpool

Total =39 mins to question a players ability, fine margins indeed !

Tommcneil,
I have a polar opposite view to yours, I think KP is divisive and interested solely in his own agenda.

Having played soccer, rugby & cricket, I have never come across an individual who consistently splits a dressing room but is without blame themselves.

Why would KP feel the need to authorise this book, he cannot need the money, if he wants to "right, wrongs which have been done to him, why not knuckle down, keep his mouth shut and put selectors in a position wherethat have no choice but to give him a place back??
Answer, he did that before and then fell out with half the team and management.

His problem is a recurring one, the common denominator is KP. Its a damn shame as he is a talent, sadly though a flawed one.

It's not quite that. It's more like you saying you prefer West Brom over England to the extent that you wouldn't care if international football ceased tomorrow for good.

Not quite, scouse is not a term exclusive to liverpool fans, Evertonians are just as scouse as l'pool.

the scouse not english slogan, refers to being from the "peoples free enclave" (city) of liverpool and not from england !

As west brom fans we should be all too aware of the dangers of cliques

A function of operating in a 20 team division where 6-7 are at a different level, hence we are in a league of 13-14, just a thought!

poor down trodden, neglected, chip on the shoulder scousers, they should all sod off back to Eire.
They really get on my nerves, if Liverpool had suffered the deprevation parts of the west midlands has they might be entitled to play the class war card,
And dont start me on Hillsborough and the conveniently forgotten Heysel.

Bugger, do feel for the lad, must be bloody tough, new country, few mates and crocked :-(

Anyway, being selfish, If he had to go back, would we be able to loan someone else?

Zuverloon in midfield, I don't remember that, I do remember being so excited about his first few games, I thought he was a gem, that didn't last long though!

Lambert playing infrequently for Liverpool is still a step up than playing and scoring for West Brom in my mind.'

Really??  Thats not a clever thing to be saying Roy!

That statement should be hanging on the wall in our changing room saturday I hope.

Do you ever say anything positive ?

On Saturday they will ALL have to put in a disciplined performance and so I wouldn't expect anything other than tight and organised.

Seemed to score a nice little goal at Man City last season if I remember rightly, bit more than a Championship side !!

We're playing a bottom half team, below us in the league. We should not fear this seasons liverpool.

I thought sterling looked really jaded ast nioght, I can see Rogers resting him.
I suspect we will be facing Borini, Lallana and Lambert

Balotelli - un-interested (surprise, surprise0
Sterling, looking jaded,
Gerrard, can't change a game, like he used to
Skrtel, accident waiting to happen
Sturridge, lacking matches

There will never be a better time to go for it against these. Get straight after them from the kick off.
I think they are cloe to a mini-implosion.
3 points beckon.

Good to see the lad doing well and the contract is good news,
First choice??? I think thats a bit harsh on GMAc who has not really been in the picture due to fitness / injury.

certainly ahead of J.O. but needs to keep playing v.v.well to keep GMac out IMO! What an excellent situation this is for the club, and even better its repeated all over the pitch  :D :D
