Will we get the opportunity to see wearing the stripes in the flesh??? It will be horrible if we never get the chance to show him a proper Hawthorns welcome ☹️

You are right it would be horrible. But it may well come to pass. He is bound to have other suitors after his displays for us.

Really poor yesterday.

His form has deteriorated lately. Is it a coincidence that its since we've abandoned the three in midfield with Gallagher AMN either side of him?

Is he best in a three?

May be why Celta arent desperate to keep hold of him?

Still looks ok in a 2 when AMN does his share, but can't be expected to do both jobs when his partner is failing. Think we are better with a 3 anyway but so much depends on how the set up in front of them is organised.

Nobody is OK in a 2 against a highly motivated quality 3 which is what Leicester had the other night. That Leicester three covers all bases and is as good as any middle 3 in the premier league.

His form has dipped for just 2 games so i'm not overly worried. He can't keep up those levels for all games. I'd bet on a return to form in these next 2 games.

Here's hoping the Vile haven't been tapping him up for next season. Just saying.

If we have a chance then at the very least we should try to make it happen. Don't mess around wondering who else might offer him whatever. Make a firm and fair offer.

Perhaps when the restrictions are lifted and he samples the West Bromwich nightlife he might change his mind ;D.

However, if there is any chance we can keep this guy then we must pull out all the stops to get him. One of the very few positives to come out of a dismal season.

I’d hoped he may settle in the area. A lot of the Albion lads live in Solihull or even some of the more quieter (and affluent) villages heading out of the Birmingham area. If we stand a chance of him returning next season, it would be easier to persuade him if he’s happy where’s he’s living and the club has a clear objective which everybody is pulling towards.

Personally, I’d like to keep him at the Albion on a permanent basis. However if it’s not going to realistic, or we spend too much of the summer chasing/negotiating when it’s unlikely he’ll come then we must move on, and swiftly!

Again, a good technical director would already be proactive about this and have options available.

Offer before the european championships start... we dont need an even bigger audience being aware of his ability. If we could sign him it might make periera commit to the cause for another year

If we sign Okay, we will be using the Pereira transfer funds.

A brilliant signing by a brilliant manager who knew what needed to be done.

Our defence was woefully short coming into the division and we needed this sort of signing and not the rubbish we cobbled together.

Alas, he'll be off. Lessons to be learned though and we may be looking for a similar man  very soon.

Is it wrong to hope he has a terrible Euros?
A) Because I think Turkey could be dark horses
B) Because I really hope we manage to sign him next season.

Anyone know when the loan for Yokuslu expires / expired? Permanent players are contracted until 30 June, but don't know if the same applies for loan signings.

Just wondering if he is still our player for the first few games of the tournament. The EUFA site has him as an Albion player.

https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro-2020/news/0269-12464679fb2e-84fa175e53ca-1000--provisional-euro-2020-squads/#

This website says loan ends on 30 June
