Chelsea beat Real 2-0 and set up CL Final v City.  Chelsea deserved the win. Wonder if we would also have beaten Real.

Foden and Mount starring in Champions League semi finals. Hard not to be excited about England's chances over the next 3 or 4 tournaments.

Over the two legs that Real Madrid side have been appalling

You could have mistaken them for one of the old masters teams you’d see on sky sports

Think City would have been pretty desperate to be playing Madrid as opposed to this energetic defensive Chelsea side.

.......In the battle of the plastics I'm royal blue I think.

Given their intentions regarding the ESL it's a pity they can't both lose. If rumour is to be believed the greatest irony of that particular chapter is this season's 'Champions League' final is being contested by two teams who're not only not champions, but who were not initially invited to the ESL party.

They were afterthoughts. Afterthoughts or considered to be too loaded already by their counterparts that is. Not only is football at the top a corrupt haven for the greedy, it utterly stinks. False gods the lot of 'em.

When I consider the difference in finances and perceptions it makes our victory at Stamford Bridge and draw at the Etihad all the sweeter. Talking of plastics I'd love to have seen the looks on the faces of their 'future fans' when those results came in.

Another crazy decision making two teams from the same country travel to a country with 20,000 plus cases for a cup final.
What's wrong with Wembley?

There's a lot of things wrong with Wembley but a switch would be the common sense thing to do in this instance. I'm not sure how much common sense is in supply among those making the decisions though.

Ed
Footnote to things that are wrong with Wembley - it's hosting the playoffs.

Whilst I agree the CLF should be played over here it's another reason for why Wembley would be a no.

Which brings us to a wider point, why are the playoffs being held at Wembley when there's no/few supporters in attendance?

Even that is more sensible than what they've decided.
4000, tickets each I believe, so we will have 8000 of our compatriots flying off to an area with 20,000plus CV19 cases per day then coming home with god knows what.

Or the Hawthorns, if capacity is not an issue at the moment. Excellent playing surface and we could do with a few extra quid. ;)

Seriously, the CL finals take a lot of planning for a long time in advance on a Buggins turn principle.  So a city which has been given the ticket is not easily going to give that up.

Am I right in thinking we have only lost once this season, out of four games, to the two CL finalists?

My only surprise to the news that they've 'offered' is that you seem surprised by what they clearly see as being magnanimous and helpful.

It won't have occurred to any of them that others may perceive them as weapons grade..... well, weapons  ;D .

City can't get into their rhythm. Chelsea picking openings quite easily in their defence. If Werner could finish, it would be 3-0.
From what I can see. All streams are rubbish.

Hope City can come back. Chelsea have won loads in my lifetime including a few European trophies. Would be good for City's fans to experience that too now.

De Bruyne getting another injury? Not great for Belgium.
