Was going to pop down the pub to hear some half time punditry, but realised I could get it on the BBC listening to Shearer. "Strikers standing around, not working hard enough. Just move, earn a contract". Such a basic level of analysis from the "football expert". Too hard to analyse why Liverpool aren't creating anything behind the forwards, or the possible tactical issue of having 2 out and out strikers up front, at odds to what Liverpool usually do. Instead he goes for the hard work line.

Loved him as a player, but no time for his views as a pundit. I want a higher level of analysis to what I could hear from your average fan.

Wolves much the better and deservedly 1-0 up.. Think Liverpool need to get Salah etc. on to turn it around, not that I want them to.

I get what you are saying; I love a good bit of tactical dissection as much as the next person. However, sometimes analysis just needs to be rudimentary.

They haven't created anything though. 2 out and out centre forwards can't shoulder all of the blame when behind them, Liverpool are not producing chances. Young Jones looks a bit lost against the quality of Wolves, and Keita (first time I have watched him properly) looks average. They have looked a bit "empty" all game.

Shame that, I seemingly wanted Liverpool Reserves to beat the D1ngle5 more than Jurgen Klopp did...

Hopefully we get them next round.

Liverpool got 5 world class players that’s it.  Mane, Firmino, Salah, Van Dijk, Alisson.  Man City’s reserves are way better.

Maximum number of premeir league sides in 5th round is 9/16

Liverpool are out. Man united or asenal will go out. Spurs away at palace without Kane and Alli so they might crash out. Everton are off to the new den so upset on cards. West Ham travel to Wimbledon. Wolves to the shrews. So plenty of upsets available.

Even with our midfield injury crisis and the upcoming run in league besides resting Gayle and Gibbs we should be giving the game v Brighton a good go and be trying to get in the hat again
O Albion we love you

Interestingly poised tie between Arsenal and Man Utd. Much as I dislike the club it is good to see Lukaku doing well after all the stick he gets. Really intelligent football in setting up the goals.
