With our new January additions what would our strongest line up be now if all were fit.

Here is my team below with subs listed as well:

Johnstone (I know, I know but we really haven’t seen Bond in action)
Gibbs
Ajayi
Bartley
Furlong (leaving out Ferguson because he’s not on the same page)
Livermore (sorry Jacko)
Sawyers (under pressure but still the best I reckon)
Phillips
Pereira
Diangana
Robinson (possibly not a striker but he’s impressed me)

Subs: Peltier, Grosicki, Krov, Austin, Hegazi, O’Shea, HRK.

Probably left someone glaringly out, but if you put that side out with 7 days rest I think they’d be hard to beat.

No Gibbs, no Phillips and we produce our best performance since god knows when on Sunday. Neither get in my team.

What is interesting is will Diangana get back in when fit? I wouldn't be betting a lot of money on it.

I'm not sure whether we can improve by starting Grosicki or by Austin replacing Kanu so I wouldn't name a best team.

Sometimes its horses for courses, sometimes it's a form thing.

I guarantee you now if your first choice team lost its next game you'd be wanting to change it for the following game.

Agreed. At the stage of their careers at a promotion winning / bottom of the Prem team both should be back ups.

Grosicky, Pereira, Robinson and Diangana all have more quality on the ball consistently than Phillips.

On current form i wouldn't change any of the defence.
Gibbs biggest problem for me is he let's far too many crosses come in from his side and it's a big problem when we have a keeper who doesn't like to come off his line.
Townsend has done enough to keep his place for now.

best team by a country mile to me. Robinson isnt an out and out striker but hes still the best one weve got from what i saw of him for preston and what ive seen from hrk,austin and zohore.

krovinovic apart from maybe 3 good appearances has been none existent and too light weight this season

Just feel he is better on the ball than Sawyers and especially at home when teams sit in, it's another option for them to mark in the midfield as he can push forward and may free Perreira up with more space.

Really difficult to choose a first 11 as there’s so many who could easily drop in and do as good as job as the starter. O’Shea has been brilliant lately, Krov has got better and better, Austin knows where the net but doesn’t bring the front 3 into play as much in my opinion. It’ll be such a massive lift when Diangana and Gibbs are fit, best left side in the division by a mile
