Tough game for us this one, Palace are very physical and have pace. Suprised that there so low in league draw here would be a good result but won't help our survival.

A win means nothing for me at this point (besides pride of course) - we are on 18 points. If we win say 7 out of our 10 remaining games, we'd be on 39 which may be enough. There's no way we will win even 5 of them. We had to win a few of our previous, and we improved and nearly managed it. Too little, too late. Too ineffective in the final third.

Not too upset, just hope we put together a decent plan for next season.

Either 2-1 Palace or a 1-1 draw.

0-0 half time, they score around 47-48 mins, we lose 4-0

Well does this game really matter We are down Palace will have nothing to Play For I think we only have Pride to play for so either 1-0 to us with a goal from a Corner so either Ajayi or Bartley or 0-0

I can see us nicking this one based on how they set up. Poor 1-0 victory is what i'm going to plump for. Still down even if we win - as other posters have said last week really was the last chance.

Bogey team for us. Outscored 14-1 in last 6 vs Palace. 5 losses and 1 draw.

Another draw at best I’m afraid, we can’t seem to grind out the wins we need . Or goals

I think Allardyce has to change the formation up whilst we look a lot better the last few weeks we’ve still only scored 2 goals in 5 games which is nowhere near good enough. I’d go 4-2-3-1 Okay & Gallagher double pivot, Pereira in the middle AMN wide right & Diangana in for Phillips (although Matty has played well the past week weeks) if Grady is putting in the usual performances then hook him on 60 minutes.

Story linking Conor Gallagher with permanent move to Palace.

Interesting timing, just a coincidence??

We’ve only had 2 goals in the last 5 matches, however, chances have been numerous.
No I suspect he will keep the same formation. If Allardyce does give Matty a rest it won’t be Grady, that would completely unbalance the side - maybe a fresh Snodgrass ? If we are chasing the game then possibly Diangana may get his opportunity.

This is a winnable game. Palace aren't consistent and have a few out with injuries. They have recently been heavily beaten so confidence will be shakey. This looks a game to be won by the better organised side- which might be us these days! Zaha coming back may be a problem and we need to watch our penalty box tackling  against him.

Zaha made his comeback last time we played Palace and that brings back painful memories, as he played a big part in destroying us.

Yeah, this is the lineup I'd go for.  We are running out of time and scraping draws isn't good enough.

Be interesting to see what subs Allardyce uses and hopefully not with 8mins to go.
I suppose all will depend on the score at the time - drawing or losing more attacking substitutes and more defensive in the unlikely event of us winning against a bogey team.

Just hope if it’s the former, he try’s Diangana, Robinson or Grant and not the ineffective HRK.

Diagne MUST improve in converting the chances that come his way as he’s been abysmal in that respect so far.

Any subs will be forced or a last resort. Beyond this starting XI he only really trusts Snodgrass.
