Think we could be in for abit of a hiding today, Spurs are on a serious roll and have some fantastic players, having Yacob out is a real miss as Erikson is one of the best centre mids in the league, he murdered us at the Hawthorns last year.

In fairness Dembele murdered us and Yacob last season , no silly free kicks around the box today !

Simple narrow the pitch two banks of four at the edge of the box deny him time and space. Standard operation Pulisball 0:0 mission accomplished and next week we will move the bus to Anfield.

This will be a very similar game to the Arsenal one and in all likelihood it will it will be a comfortable win for the visitors and having Yacob or not makes very little difference.

Just not that simple though is it ? , if it was we would have lost to Arsenal but we didn't .
Can't stand starry eyed and roll over at this level!

Time for a cliche - the first goal will be crucial, if they get one early on it could be a very tough afternoon, if its 0-0 at half time, or if we've nicked one, it could get interesting

It's not about being starry eyed it is a game plan that involves getting 10 men behind the ball and defending for our lives for the bulk of the 90 minutes. If it's a rerun of the Arsenal game against team who at the moment are more capable than them the outcome is probably going to be a defeat which was the most likely outcome against Arsenal who frankly cocked it up.

If we had a different game plan it still might be a defeat but at least we would offer a bit of a threat going forward then maybe the opposition would not be able to camp in our half. Maybe if we passed the ball a little rather than hoofing it in the vague direction of Rondon I might look forward to the game more even manage a little bit of hope.

Have to say since the last international break we have played some good football against quality opposition and it seems as if our luck is in

Spurs are playing so well at the moment, I think I'd pretty well settle for defeat. But not humiliation.
