We have 3 friendlies lines up:

https://www.wba.co.uk/news/albion-confirm-additional-friendly-fixtures

Albion have added two more matches to their pre-season schedule as preparations for the 2021/22 Sky Bet Championship campaign continue.

The Baggies will travel to National League side Woking for a friendly on Friday, July 16 (ko 7.45pm). The fixture has been scheduled to mark the 30th anniversary of Woking’s infamous FA Cup victory at The Hawthorns in 1991.

Tickets will go on general sale on Monday, July 5 and are priced £12 adults and £6 under-16s.

Albion’s final friendly will be a short trip to the St Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium to take on Birmingham City on Saturday, July 31 (ko 3pm).

Further details, including the potential for supporter attendance, will be released at a later date.

The Baggies have already confirmed a friendly against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday, July 24 (ko 3pm).

The club will announce further pre-season friendlies in due course.

I can't really understand why we're playing Blues, surely it's better to avoid playing friendlies against teams in the same division?

Very accommodating of the Albion to help Woking celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of the lowest points in our history. Not quite as accommodating as we  were thirty years ago mind ...... let's just hope for a scoreline in our favour this time around  :-X .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

I was at that game 30 years ago and things were so bad that the Albion fans booed when Darren Bradley (I think) scored our second goal and cheered when Woking scored their fourth. I agree that there's nothing to celebrate here from an Albion perspective and we shouldn't be making an occasion out of it.

far as I can see, we aren't. It's just a friendly. Woking might celebrate it but for us it's just another game.

Bit like asking the Germans to play England in a freindly on July 30th - to celebrate 55 years earlier - I suspect they might decline
the road to the summit has dips, keep the faith when navigating those dips !!

Albion's announcement of the friendly says "the fixture has been scheduled to mark the 30th anniversary of Woking’s infamous FA Cup victory at The Hawthorns in 1991", which rather suggests that we're joining in the "fun".

I don’t mind us marking the Woking game for them, you may as well have a sense of humour.

Also glad we are playing Blues and hope fans are allowed in. I’ll try to get to that one.

Looking forward to this one, it's almost a ritual to play Walsall pre-season, can imagine this being a full house (government pending!) im guessing ticket details wont be announced until after the 19th
