Given the results today we really needed that.

Really good game that, we looked dangerous and should have had more. Last week is still living in the memory but games like that will soon erase it.

It's the first game in a long time where I've really, really wanted to smash a side. Sherwood comes accross like Saunders did at the Dingles. I really hope it's the same outcome.

Please Tony, destroy them just for me.

He's at present looking like an utter clown, he reminds me of Saunders at Wolves. All talk about above them, nothing about relegation.

Forget the opposition but how nice was it to see a manager change the game

He won't know the players at all yet, so until he's taken training for a week he will rely on Downing etc.

The fact that TP could see the problems and advised the bench on what to do was a huge difference for me. Sick of watching the Albion and seeing the problem along with everyone else but the manager doing nothing until it's too late.

Really looking forward to watching the Albion now.

Team game, if people do not complete their own roles it puts extra pressure on everyone.

Something TP will sort right away, either work for the team or F off.

Very happy, about time the club stopped fanning around with no experience risks.

FA Cup final and safety please Tony.  :D

I just can't see JP going the Sherwood route, it's just too risky and his talk of learning lessons in the summer would be rubbish.

The lesson is you don't appoint a novice in a relegation fight. See how that worked for Wolves, twice.

For once we need to go for experience and a serious change, I'm tired of the Albion way as frankly I;ve not seen it in over 30 years.

does Pulis?

Just see his record against us in the prem. He knows how to play the low teams.

Sherwood would be a shocking idea, he was a joke at spurs. all flash and no idea. Why do you think no one else has gone for him?

It better be Pulis, everything else scares me.

The club needs a tactical manager, the last 3 have been all over the place with no ability to change a game once it begins.

General Football & Sports / Re: Alan Irvine sacked by Albion

He's gone, trust me. Peace has learnt from past mistakes of not having people lined up and will this week be having first or possibly second discussions with the potentials.

Given the stick he got last time he will be making sure we can appoint quick, not point in removing Irvine just yet and having the media all over us.

Next week we'll have a new man in charge and this nightmare will be over.

Like a lot of people I can't see past Pullis and I'm doubting JP can. BUT will he fit......

He won't survive now, the away fans took him to pieces over the subs.

Fully expect his dismissal this evening.

AI had an utter mountain to climb and the odds on him doing it we huge, it's proved a spectacular failure as most predicted form day 1. It was a shocking appointment.

Just remove him tomorrow and appoint Pulis.

The more i think about it the more I think he'll be gone tomorrow. Just can't see Peace accepting the backlash that is building.

What ever we are paying him it's not enough. The difference in quality was night and day yesterday.

His positioning is fantastic.

You can't blame him, you can only blame the people who appointed him, he's so out of his depth it's quite scary. He looks anything but comfortable in the dugout and the interviews give off well rehearsed answers.

Can't see him lasting until the end of October at all. Either way Peace has a HUGE appointment next.

No point in denying the inevitable now, remove him ASAP. Tactically he's a million miles away form a head coach. I never thought I'd want Pulis but at the moment we need seriously whipping into shape.

A mess.
