BREAKING: UEFA have told Juventus that they WILL be allowed to play in the Champions League next season despite their involvement in the Super League. (Source: ANSA)

An out and out scandal
What?? Another football scandal? It’s just another episode that will forgotten about. Qatar???🤪

UEFA can't do much about it. If they come down too hard on the breakaway clubs, they may go next time. Its like a company threatening to punish their most important suppliers.

Seems it is because of the injunction. UEFA’s lawyers will no doubt be looking if they can get around it.

If they can’t, the game’s in trouble.

Those disco lights and new PA system will come in handy.

Thought it was something like that.

Pretty sure they beat Celtic 1-0 in 2016...lost the return leg though and went out.

Not hard nowadays  ;D

But yes, they did beat Celtic and lost the return leg.

I think it was the same season Rangers lost to Progress Niederkorn but I have removed that from the memory bank  ;D

Rangers doing their best Impression of Celtic in Europe.

1-0 up against 10 men at Half time, now 2-1 down by 60 mins

Malmo are a decent side, but Scots League isn’t a high standard by any measure.

They were excellent in the first half and fell apart in the second.

Deservedly knocked out.

Not a great night for the coefficient which Rangers had done very well to rebuild.

Hopefully they win the league this year and therefore automatically qualify for the champions league

As I don't like the biggest clubs in England and Scotland one iota, my personal wish (albeit rather a long shot) is that both Celtic and Rangers don't win anything this season!  :D

As for the stitch-up which allows clubs knocked out of the Champions League to get a stab at qualifying for the Europa League....  :-X

Nice to see Young Boys Bern scoring an injury time winner to stop Pretty Boy grabbing all the headlines on his debut  :)

Sebastian Haller scores 4 on CL debut as Ajax win 5-1.   No spectacular goals, just good anticipation being in the right spot and then being composed at the right moment. Looks the ideal sort of centre forward.

Watched him a fair bit when he was in Germany , really good striker, bit like Rondon but better with his feet.,wasted years at West Ham but will do well at Ajax.

Agreed. A centre forward like Haller would ideal for our system.

One of the best attacking displays I've seen in a long while watching Ajax destroy Borussia Dortmund 4-0. How to up to up the tempo by breaking quickly from midfield.  They got behind the Dortmund defence every time. City, Chelsea and Liverpool need to watch out for Ajax.
