Strangely the scoreline was fine until Rafa took Rondon off  ;D

Didn't pay any attention to the game itself and honestly couldn't even be bothered to check the lineups, subs or stats. Just saw the scoreline and that was enough information for me. 'Thanks' all the same though ;D .

Retains the shirt for me. Only player who can play the central role, wasn't as good yesterday as against Derby but the front 3 need a run of games together.

Robinson and Grant to continue on the subs bench.

Whether he retains the shirt or not from what we've seen so far selection/subs wise I'd be very surprised to see any of our front three getting an extended run of games together.

Small piece in tommorows Sun claiming that tribunal set to be held before end of year and also that Palace are now in for Daryl Dike too.

Funnily enough I was just thinking that if he'd stayed with us and remained fit he'd have got a lot of game time both last season and this. As for Palace they were rumoured to be interested in Dike during the summer too.

1. Failed to take a chance at the end of a hard match. It will happen, forget it and score the next 3. Criticism on here is as usual a 'little' harsh and over the top.

2. Don't some of us love an Albion player to get their teeth into? I know people are calling it as they see it, and that their opinions are as valid as the next persons. But, we as Albion 'supporters' have always had a fair percentage of those who seem somewhat prone to be over-critical of our own.

3. I have seen it develop over the years until now it has become the norm for certain players to become almost pariahs, simply for making an error (or two) during a game. I'm not over keen on this type of 'whipping boy culture" I thought we were a bit better than that, but I'm old school and perhaps out of touch with modern support.

1. Agreed but he really should have put it away.

2. Funny you should mention this. I'm regularly surprised at how a number of our supporters would seem only too happy to pop their teeth in a glass for certain players  ;D .

3. Tread carefully on the Sam Johnstone thread as some may derive happiness pointing this out to you moving forward  ;D  ;)  ;) .

I would imagine that we will need the vaccine passport then based on Wales now making them law?

Haven't been following the ins and outs re Welsh sporting venues. Tomorrow could prove interesting. Cardiff have got Bournemouth at home so I suppose we'll soon find out.

Managed to get a Stoke ticket online last night.. nice and simple. We're getting there...  :-X

Check your ticket's the one you wanted and chose from the seating plan. My Stoke ticket arrived today and very definitely is not. I chose a decent central spot on row 35 and I've got a ticket on row 9!

Emailed the ticket office who replied the ticket I've got IS the one I ordered online. I've emailed back to point out the obvious. There's a Pdf receipt in my confirmation of purchase email which clearly states I ordered a spot on row 35.

As you know I prefer to stand at the football so always try for seats at the back out of respect for those who prefer to sit for health reasons or whatever else. Mistakes are one thing but telling me I'm the one who's made the mistake when I've got proof of purchase is next level stuff.

Quick update for HSTHs wanting tickets for Cardiff. In case you didn't know they are now available for online purchase. I logged in about five minutes back and the system was good to go. All of the very best.

Dangerous precedent, he should know better being an admin !  where is Oldbury when you need him ???

Indeed. A clear and blatant contravention of. com's soiling the bed policy. I'm confident Old Mother Oldbury will set the correct tone by banning them both with immediate effect. One for forum sedition and the other for dereliction of duty.

A good, reasonable, balanced post.......

I'm not having this, ban him before it catches on.

Best to nip these kind of things in the bud.......

I bought Preston tickets online without any real hassle. Click back to the previous page and you'll see I got my Stoke ticket online but had to ring up for Cardiff.

We're not getting anywhere fast. It would be an idea if they stuck to selling away tickets one game at a time as the site appears unable cope with the volume of demand (for a couple of thousand tickets fgs).

In the meantime it may also come in handy to deploy more ticket office staff to the telephone lines, so people don't have to turn up at the ticket office in person as they can't buy online or get through on the phones either.

Number 16 in the queue ATM and the hold message keeps asking me if I know I can book tickets on line!!!!  >:(
10 mins to get to number 12 in the call queue

You've moved four spaces in the queue in ten minutes? Lucky you, don't knock it. When I was waiting yesterday I thought I'd end up being found under a pile of dust by Time Team  ;D .

I hope you've got a tin hat. Atomic's going up like a mushroom cloud when he reads this descriptor of the pert buttocked one  ;D .

I thought Furlong was the best threat throughout the whole match.......

Agreed, he made me nervous to be in the Smeth' during the first half and the Brummie must have been terrified during the second half  ;) .

Can't see Federer cutting his granny off at the knees to win a game of tennis. When it comes to motor racing and Schumacher on the other hand you're talking Death Race 2000  ;D .

I thought to myself 'I know what I'll do, knock off work early and head down to the ground and pick a Cardiff ticket up in person"
Arrived at two mins past three and guess what? Yep ticket office closes at three  :-X

Just logged onto the OS and the tickets for Cardiff are still currently showing up as restricted. Unless loads turned up at the ticket office yesterday there should still be plenty left given how long it took to buy tickets on the phones yesterday. It's the hope that.........

Did they explain what the online issue is?

Yes, but not very well. I asked why they were restricted online and was told it was due to ticketing problems at the Cardiff end. I pointed out that I'd just bought two tickets off them over the phone which I wouldn't be able to do if there were problems with tickets at the Cardiff end. Was then told 'we're still having problems with the ticket site'  :D .

Probably won't be scoring loads of goals but we do look better as a team when he's on the pitch. And I just knew someone was going to suggest we should have hung onto HRK  ;D .

Same here got me Stoke ticket done and refreshing regularly to check on Cardiff

Rang the ticket office. 'Sorry, but the call queue is full, please hang up and try again later because we know you've got nothing better to do with your day'. Or at least that may as well be the message. First world issues can be extremely irritating.

We came over in the car via the Scott Arms, past the crematorium and Sandwell General before heading to the Birmingham Island. We left ever so lightly later than usual for a midweek game and there was significantly more traffic. That said I still had a couple of beers in my hand in the Sportsman by 17:50hrs  8) .

Cardiff tickets are supposed to be on sale to HSTHs from today. I cannot access the tickets as it still states 'restricted offer'. I have however been able to purchase a ticket for Stoke with no difficulty.

Are any other HSTHs who are not away members having the same problem? If so, if anyone at the ticket office is reading this, make them available for sale to HSTHs as soon as possible please. Pretty please, with icing and a nice little bow on the top. Ta.
