So, blue socks again. Prefer white socks. Blue socks always seem to be pooh seasons.

The promotion seasons under Gary Megson were particularly poor........ as was the year we won our only league title and the season we went up as FA Cup winners.

Didn't we wear blue socks for a lot of games when we were promoted under Tony Mowbray too? I prefer white socks but I won't get too upset if they're blue.

That black kit looks fantastic.

One of my favourite kits was the black away shirt under Mowbray.  Wonderful shirt.

Must be an age thing. Now I've seen the three together the black one's the worst for me. Looks like the kind of pattern the Vile would wear   ;) .

The yellow and blue should be pinstripes though. Nothing wrong with a pinstriped third kit.

There is far too much happening on that yellow kit for me to make head nor tail of it.

Given one is heading closer to their retirement I thought the concept of a simple black or grey coloured kit would be right up your street.  ;)

The first paragraph is surprising given your love for our current migraine inducing third kit creation. Your second paragraph is likely to induce an eclipse of your head with Uranus  :o  ;D  ;)

Home - meh can take or leave it, probably get it after xmas when its redcued
Black - not a fan, don't like the checkerboard pattern or the red detailing
yellow - day 1 purchase for me, retro feel to it and my fave of the 3

I did quite like that one as it happens. You'd have loved a lot of the goalkeepers tops back in the day. They were absolutely gopping for the most part  ;D .

I'm not a fan of the home shirt, but i do have some sympathy for the people who make these decisions. There's only so much one can do with Navy & White stripes. I've not minded the barcode or the pinstripes. They give an option and the next year we tend to go back to standard stripes. Keeps it interesting at least.

A Black/Red and a Yellow/Yellow & Green would pretty much always be my choice of 2nd and 3rd kits (either way around)

A HUGE win for the board would be to have a 3rd kit for 2 seasons (obviously we'd need the manufacturer & the sponsor to be the same for the period). It would be a great move, ensure sales of it and be some good PR.

Whenever things look bad, remember the Port Vale, Grimsby and Walsall days... not so bad now, eh?!

I think the all blacked out kits look smart, would like us to have a 3rd kit like this. The Bayern kit released yesterday is lovely.

The reaction on Twitter has been laughable. If you don’t like the designs, don’t buy the shirt. Stick to the retro ones and carry on with your day!

The black T Mobile away shirt was one of the best ones we've had IMO.

Best shirt in recent years was three years ago when we had Barnes, Holgate etc. Outstanding shirt.

My favourite away shirt was the green a navy shirt worn by krychoviak and co in that awful season.

I’ve never liked the barcode shirt but equally not really a fan of the new shirt. It’s not offensive but it’s just not Albion.

Normally I’d agree that the reactions to shirts is over the top, but I don’t think I do in this case. That home shirt just isnt an Albion shirt.

Like the badge (which I appreciate they sadly have messed with), certain things should be untouchable. The home shirt should be blue and white stripes, the club full name should be West Bromwich Albion and the ground should be the Hawthorns.

For me at least, some things should be sacred.

I like the black kit
It always strikes me as a psychological kit, it makes the players look powerful
However I do like the blue &  white striped kit
