I'll see my arsenal  ;) if he drops Phillips over Robinson...

Hopefully unchanged.

Edit. Spot on Dan. Phillips and O’Shea out Gallagher and Ajayi in.

Widely hinted at yesterday in places that Phillips and O’Shea wouldn’t play

Allardyce the Tortoise. Fairly predictable that at the first sign of trouble, he would retreat into his defensive shell.

So it's a packed centre of midfield again. Should draw. 0-0 or maybe 1-1 is my guess - our goal coming from a set piece.

Wish I'd seen that  :D

Twitching a bit I'm not going to lie, as you know this isn't the big one for me but I'm desperate for us to beat them, for you and all the other lads who feel it is. And to shove it up the supercilious *****.

Is Gallagher for Phillips a massively defensive move? Not really and should allow AMN more freedom. For my money he's better than Phillips.

I hope it doesn’t mean we have Pereira shunted out wide. He’s wasted out there and has a far greater influence in the midddle.

Maybe we’ll see Gallagher in a wider role?

I hope beyond hope its just Gallagher with YokuÅŸlu and AMN wide right. Like for like re tic tacs.

Forgot about AMN being out wide,

I don’t see that happening though - can’t see Allardyce compromising on his Yokuslu, AMN defensive base.

I hope it's a diamond with Yokuslu at the bottom, Gallagher and AMN either side with Pereira at the top.

I suspect it will probably be Pereira wide right and Robinson wide left though.

No complaints with the selection changes. Both were really poor.

It’s more defensive for me, mainly due to the formation taking our most creative outlet from his best position and sticking him out wide. Gallagher has played as the attacking midfielder in the championship, but his role here this season has mainly been a box to box one and he hasn’t been particularly creative or involved in goals (as much as I do like him).

The idea behind this change is to make us solid again, because that worked out so well for us prior to Chelsea.

At least he has kept Robinson in over Phillips.

Could be nothing, but Ollie Watkins has just stopped warming up and gone down the tunnel with the club doctor.

It’s very homo erotic this thread! Lots of talk of bums. Well you couldn’t drive a straight pin up mine with a ten tonne lump hammer - to quote my favourite person from my favourite show. Captain Lee. Below Deck.

I still think we have a small chance but we have to do what SA says - 5 wins !

In fairness I think Phillips dropped himself when he didn't keep that ball in against Leicester, and then called to say the ball was out when it clearly wasn't and gave a sloppy attempt of a chase.

DB. Do me a favour if we score keep it to yourself for 30/40 seconds. BT Sport have a terrible delay.

Looks like Atomic has his wish from the pre match chat, on first showing we are lined up with a midfield diamond. Didn't expect that, will we have enough width?

Yup it’s behind as my notification for kick off on my phone was about 15 seconds before the kick off on the tele.

Very nervy and disjointed start. Lord knows what's happened to the intensity shown against Saints.
Still, early days

Cheers mate.

Not worked it out yet. When we dropped in behind the ball Gallagher seemed to be wide right, but I'm not sure.
