I went shopping in Droitwich town today. A lot (not all) of masks were being worn just over the mouth and not covering the nose.
Don't people realise how viruses spread?

Have you been past Morrisons DB? they have that much produce outside the store you are forced to walk through a gap that is just wide enough for 2 or 3 people. When I was there the other day people were queuing on both sides of this gap to get through. What are the local council doing about this? I tell you what. SOD ALL  >:(

Zero Covid deaths reported today.

There is literally no justification for the arbitrary 21st June date to end restrictions.

I havent looked elsewhere because i'm sick of it all now frankly so you may be right but this is what i see on the website

"16:03
Breaking

UK records four coronavirus deaths

There have been a further four coronavirus-related deaths in the UK, according to the government's daily figures.

This brings the total number of deaths within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test to 127,609.

There were also 2,357 new infections recorded in the last 24 hours."

They are giving it enough time to rise. Can’t go lower than zero so there will be a slight “spike”  by end of May and then give them justification to postpone the June 21 date. Hope Im wrong but can totally see that coming.

Never been about chips

Except that the people who eat too many of them are at slightly higher risk of mortality...

Rumours of delaying our rights being given back to us due to the Indian variant. Hopefully just that.

Cumulative deaths per million in India - around 190 people.

NHS backlog announced of 5 million patients waiting to start treatment by March 2021. Lives in danger.

What a mess.

Is that 5 million patients awaiting treatment, or a backlog of 5 million appointments spread across a number of patients? If it's the second option then two of those appointments are mine.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

5 million different people needing treatment who have not had their first session yet Dan. Half a million of those have been waiting over a year.

Wow.

I went to the doctor's in November 2019. I've been waiting for a follow up appointment with a specialist for the one thing since then.

Had a scan for something else discussed at the same 2019 appointment. I've been waiting for the results to discuss further treatment which will be required since March 2020.

Looks like I won't be needing to clear my diary any time soon. Oh well, they've been a bit busy according to the news ;D .

I dont think you need to make yourself fully available in the near future. Hopefully it's nothing too serious like the poor sods whose lives are in danger.

Happy to relate my life's not in immediate danger Gaz. Not that I'm aware of anyway (looks over shoulder.....).

I can tell you a trapped nerve over an eye socket running up the forehead and across the scalp isn't all it's cracked up to be though.

And as for the other thing you can trust me when I say you wouldn't want it. You might read of it in the Woodman one of the days, preferably once sorted  😊 .
