Do you want Wolves to go down?
« on: March 14, 2012, 07:13:05 PM »
Personally I would say yes! and i'd like them to stay down as long as possible.

Purely on an economic level, as discussed earlier there are many areas in the Black Country where fans could go either way, become wolves or albion fans.

If you were a 6yr old and lived in tipton and had a choice of albion in the prem or wolves in the chump, most likely your going to choose albion. Compound this effect over a ten year period and we'd be selling out a 35k stadium.

You also get short term gains, I know a guy who i know is a wolves fan yet when we 1st got promoted under Meggo there he was sitting in front of me with a season ticket. When i asked him why he has an albion season ticket he sheepishly said he was an albion fan.

Its a similar effect thats happened at the villa.

Anything that brings in fans/income/and makes us grow im all for!!

Yes. I know we would miss the bragging rights twice a season, but being able to taunt them about being a championship club for a whole season is too good an opportunity to lose

I think they are the worst side I have seen this season and they deserve to go down. The actions of their fans has been despicable so I feel they do deserve it.

Yes i want them down.In terms of finance they are probably better off than us so them going down will set them back a few years.
Less stress too when we dont have to play them. Lets be Kings of the West mids for a few years

Should of added a poll to this.

For me, yes. Don't like anything to do with that football club and I would take pleasure in watching them get relegated and then have several protests throwing their hatred towards Morgan and Moxey. The club falls apart, their top players leave and they can't fill their fancy new stand. All this whilst we're sitting pretty in the Premier League.

I know we'd miss the BCD but of late they've become a guarantee for us to take points. Let's focus on kicking the Villa around for a while. Surely to god we've kicked the Wolves in the balls enough times, they're like a little brother you just keep slapping around and their defenceless. Had we not been on our holidays last year we'd probably of put a nail in their coffin and seen them relegated.

On the balance, yes.

Would love to see the self styled 'big club' project with the Custard Bowel derailed as they play in front of 15,000 in the Chump whilst watching us rule the roost locally in the Prem !

i'm 60/40 in favour of them going down. With the 40% of me just wanting to be able to take 6 points from them next season.

Yes quite happy for them to go and they can take the Villa with them. A few seasons as the region's only premier league club would help our development.

Definitely Yes.

I'll miss the BCD but the bragging rights of them being in the league below will make up for it.
