Gudmonsson and Brady both substituted with injuries tonight.

Snodgrass and Peltier 50/50 by sounds of it. Diangana is back and Gibbs is out. Injured his neck/shoulder area apparently

What’s the issue with Snodders?

Bruised patella or something along those lines. His knee anyway. Nothing big but might have to sit this one out

I should have just gone local and they could have summed it all up for me instead.

"Joseph Masi
@JosephMasi_Star
Injury news. Albion sweating on Snodgrass ahead of Burnley. He's got a bruised knee & didn't train today. Allardyce hopeful he will train tomorrow. Diangana is back though and Peltier has a chance. Kieran Gibbs is out with a neck/shoulder issue. #wba"

I was thinking Diangana back in and more of a 4-4-1-1 than fitting Livermore or Sawyers in.

Edit - dont think we will get that though.

I just don’t see a side that wants to be hard to beat lining up with Diangana and Pereira in wide positions

Pereira behind Diagne. Okay and CG in middle. Then 2 wide men take your pick. We are beyond needing to be hard to beat now.

It'll be Phillips in for Snodgrass I'd imagine.

AMN's made the majority of his appearances for Arsenal on the right side of midfield. I'd imagine we'll go with a midfield four of AMN on the right, Gallagher and Yokuslu in the middle with one of Robinson, Diangana or Grant on the left and Pereira playing behind Diagne.

Exactly the way I see it. Think he would opt for Grant on the left given it’s a position he’s been used in several games now under Allardyce.

Don't see Allardyce moving from 4 3 3 , wouldn't be a surprise if Snodgrass was fit and Allardyce was throwing a bit of doubt Burnley's way .
If not I think he'll switch Pereira over and bring Grant in , I'd prefer Robbo.

Just listened to the preview with Allardyce , Bartley limped out of training but hoping he'll be fine . Johnstone's been away as his wife has had a baby , if all's well they hope he'll be available .
Snodgrass a huge bruise they are trying to move , gave me the impression they will wait until the last .
Gibbs out  with neck injury .

I doubt Gibbs injury was suffered stretching for a far post defensive header.  Makes Darren Anderton look Herculean, enjoy Florida son !

I was wondering if it would be.... you're all going to kill me for this... worth trying Sawyers in front of Okay. We know he can pass, and with fewer defensive responsibilities he might do better than he did in the earlier part of the season.

If either Sawyers or Livermore start we will not be winning the game.

Could you remind me of the occasions we've played 433 of late please?

Are you suggesting he strained his neck and shoulder disappearing up his own backside by any chance  ;D ?

Ok , i'll rephrase it . When we had the ball against Utd both Snodgrass and Pereira joined Diagne to try to make three attacking which left the 3 of Gallagher / AMN / Okay just behind . Behind them was a flat 4 . 4 3 3 with the ball , something like a 451 without .  Near that against Fulham too , Okay sat a touch deeper against Man Utd granted.

Had a scoot around online earlier today. According to the Twitterati Phillips and Furlong are in for Snodgrass and Peltier respectively. Diangana on the bench. Apparently.

Diangana hasn't really performed in this league.  I would have preferred O'Shea though.

Quite confident today, even with the changes. I think that the lads will have gained confidence from last weeks game......I predict 2-1 to us.

This is a must win game for me as are the three to come. Don't want to see Livermore or Sawyer's in starting line up there just not good enough.

these two need to mark O'Neil out of this one, when he's on song so are they.
