Livermore suspended. Mowatt could well still be injured. Or if he is deemed "fit" we risk the injury getting worse.

Molumby with snodgrass? Quevin castro?
Is this a chance for VI to change formation? Same as last timwe found ourselves at this level if we some how make playoffs i would be delighted. We need a proper sort out
O Albion we love you

Cant see Bristol City winning.

They’re going to come here and make this an ugly game of football and we’ll happily join them.

This will be a boring 0-0 or we’ll scrape a win from a set piece.

See Derby, Millwall, Blues, Preston, Stoke, Peterborough, QPR type performance..

Agree, think we’ll edge this maybe 2-1 or 1-0, doesn’t make me any less annoyed about how rubbish we were last night for the most part!

Jake Livermore out. Hope Mowatt is rested to ensure future full fitness. Molumby in for energy, Second midfielder? Er - Er. Mmmm  Help!

Furlong: After 3 poor games maybe needs replacing..... Who?

Up front? Cannot see past what we have -maybe Diangana for one of em but who? Would like to see one of the u23 lads given pitch time as well possibly Cleary (spelling?) he looks big enough and if good enough is old enough, but doubt it can happen

SJ, Ajayi, Bartley, Clarke and Townsend all play as no obvious replacements available and have been ok.

We can win this and ought to win it but doubt it will be pretty, and unless we can find a way to open them up more than once we will drop more points

Agree Furlong needs a break but I would go with Gardner-Hickman

Don't know a lot about Bristol City really. A cursory look at the table shows they don't score or concede a lot, are on poor form but seem to have a bit more success on the scoring front away from home. No idea on the style but perhaps they're better when team need to play on the front foot against them.

I can see it being 2-2 or 3-2 to us. Mistakes are creeping in with more than just Ajayi and Bartley so we'll need to score. Hopefully confidence from Grant and Robinson will see us through.

I'd go

Johnstone

Kipre/Bryan (he needs a chance, Ajayi is playing so poorly and Bartley won't be dislodged for some reason)
Bartley
Clarke

Phillips (60 mins then Furlong or vice versa)
Mowatt (Snods if injured)
Molumby
Townsend

Diangana
Robinson
Grant

Button, Ajayi, Bryan/Kipre, Furlong, Reach, Snodgrass, Hugill

We could always give Bryan a chance at the back and Bartley would have to move over with Clarke in the middle. I think Furlong needs a rocket and being dropped could send a message to up his game. If Mowatt is out then Snodgrass starts with Castro on the bench. If Diangana is injured then that forces a start for Furlong or Hugill really.

I just thought the whole squad was listless Wednesday night.

Perhaps it was the early goal that made us think it was going to be easy.

So From being so certain about the team last game, I have absolutely no idea for Saturday.

Don't know much about Bristol City but I'm told they've got more points from away games than home games this season. Could be a tough afternoon. Here's hoping for a turnaround in our form and fortunes. COYB  8) .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Hard to know what to expect, players looked lost on Wednesday and the system was very confused. Furlong is a real concern.
I see a, back to basics type performance with emphasis on clean sheet.
A dour 1-0 either way.

It would surprise me too! Not at all a good idea in my view. Snodgrass will play if Mowatt doesn’t. As others have said, it’s time to drop Furlong for sure.

Think Taylor Gardner-Hickman's Championship debut could be upon us. Furlong looks completely out of it. Must be cream crackered with all that galloping up and down the flank. Never mind his ongoing impersonation of a trebuchet.
