I've never been to Hull but seen some nice photos of buildings there so assumed it was a nice place. Clearly i was wrong  ;D

Hull is alright. I went a couple of years ago when Livermore scored the only goal. I didnt see anything wrong with it (Hull) personally.

re: Hull, Cant remember the name of pub by the ground but its always a good laugh in there pre-game a bit spikey after though.
Used to have good bar persons, not last time we wet sadly

Having been at the bar in my time I would suggest that most Bar Persons may get a bit spikey if you wet whilst there. :D

I knew a girl from there, she was really nice and she was showing me photos of it and it looked nice but she was middle class so lived in the better areas i'd imagine.

Like any city, good and bad bits. West Hull tends to be nicer than East.

The club opposite the car park was most welcoming, charged us a £1 to go in and we more or less took the place over. Chip butties available too ! yo cor grumble at that con yeah?

Grimsby itself is an absolute doss hole, hate the place and can’t think of any nice bits. Though GTFC actually play in Cleethorpes, most of which isn’t too bad.

Hull is a decent place, interesting to see how it developed as a port being a fair way from the open sea so defensible.  Usual crappy development-by-numbers of the old docks though

Ok, Grimsby off the list then, I do remember that I went there on the infamous night game, (94?) arrived in the dark, got soaked and frozen in the dark, lost badly, left in the dark,  joyous experience

Not nailed on. In the 18/19 season we tried it without one. We had 2 YTS lads run us that season in Big Dave and then Jimmy Shan. Not convinced the board won't go cheap again.

That club was brilliant! We went in there and at the time I still smoked so i went out for a fag, as i was going out some Hull fans where coming in,I'd got my Albion shirt on and  i started charging them a pound to come in! One bloke said I'm a member so i asked him for his membership he only showed it me. Great day and some good blokes we had a laugh with.Been back since aswell.

Your enthusiasm for the new season is so infectious I've fallen asleep and had my .com account hacked by the wife  ;D .
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Lai sells enough raffle tickets to 'win the club' that he gets his investment back and we get the club back??

I'd look forward to that.

Quite possibly the worst city in the country  :o There are some decent fixtures next year, Hull certainly isn't one of them haha I just hope we can go.
