The colour scheme of the third kit reminds me of a kit from the 90s. 95/96 maybe?

why do I care about Liverpool fans’ opinions, their kit constantly changes shade and pattern and they don’t notice.

This is about the Albion and at the root of this, you’re upset because the middle stripe of 3 is too thick.. that’s it. Nobody is changing colours, or changing the name. It’s a slightly wider stripe.
And that is why Liverpool are where they are and where we are, because we just roll over and have our tummies tickled when the club dumps on us like this their fans stand up and like you we don't care.

I don't think their fans have ever protested about the shirts - yes major things like trying to join a breakaway competition which would have seen them forgo their place in the domestic league, but not which shade of red the shirt is or whether there is a woven pattern in it.
As ever, the simplest way to protest about a kit is not to buy it. And I'd wager that these will be in shorter supply anyway post pandemic the club will have taken a hit on last year's shirts so may well not order as many for this year in case of reduced demand.

Possibly an interesting 'clue' - the online shop has released the latest '2021' edition of the Oddballs underwear range, which last season featured the barcode pattern in home, away and third colours and previously has mirrored the kit design to some degree.

https://shop.wba.co.uk/featured-collections/featured/oddballs/2565_oddballs-21-mens-boxers.html

Does this point to the new kit design in some way?

So what are the feelings about going back to black and red for away colours?  8)

Much prefer yellow and green but after 3 seasons on the trot we need a change.

I don’t mind the home shirt, actually. I know it’s not traditional and it won’t be everyone’s favourite.

I was dealing with a rugby club before Christmas at work and was talking to someone who was involved in marketing and merchandise. Like football, they change their home kits annually but they work theirs on a three year cycle. They have one year as a traditional shirt, one year a remake of a retro shirt and one year where their shirt is a bit out of left field.

I wouldn’t be against a similar approach for our home kits.

That’s a decent kit policy. At least you know where you stand year-on-year as a fan purchasing them.

I like the home kit (if it does end up being that). Would buy it.

Don't like the away kit, it's not the colour as such it's the chequerboard pattern and as has been said by a few others the 3rd choice is like an Arsenal away shirt from the early 90's.

The home kit is the one that leaked that Dan shared on page 1 of this thread. I know someone who's seen it in the flesh.

Wait until Facebook hears about this.......  ;D .

Im told the away shirt is black and red stripes, I’ve no reason to disbelieve who I’ve heard that from.

The away kit is charcoal grey with fine stripes going around it and the third kit is yellow much like the concept images that were put on this thread a couple of pages back. The home strip is the one of Kyle Bartley in the tunnel area as shown on page 1. Perreria, Townsend, Robinson and Bartley are modelling the kit this year.

Be interesting to see who models the keeper strip then....of course we could use the “Sam was away on international duty” excuse.

I'd be surprised if the pics weren't done weeks even months ago. Although last year I think they announced the keeps kits separately from the main outfield kit
