Change needed in football
« on: May 16, 2021, 09:22:15 PM »
It's time for football supporters to take a stand. Don't renew your Sky, BT or Amazon subscriptions for Premier League. It's the only way to get change in our game, else the so-called big 6 will still rule.  Sky were slagging off the big 6 two weeks ago (only becuase they didn't get the TV deal) and are now back to kissing their backsides. Pass this message on.

Our game is marketed all over the world. If a few of us in this country boycott it will barely scratch the surface of the problem. I agree in spirit but we just wouldn't make enough of a difference.
Allllllll aboard

Happy to sign the petition but it is a token gesture. It's a global game ruled by money and our opinion matters not.

I will personally cancel my Sky subscription now we are down as I can access all Champ games elsewhere and I don't watch the greed league or the Not Champions League anyway.

The so-called big 6 don't want a Leicester to happen, they don't want anyone spoil their parade, thats why they have closed ranks.

This is the one time the other other 14 clubs for the EPL plus the EFL need to stick together and get change and move the power away from those clubs, for the good of the whole game including grass roots football.  The FA are usless and this is the one time we (as in all clubs) can get change, those greedy clubs will try again and the power needs to be moved away from them now before its too late.

Done  8) .

There were about 65,000 respondents to this petition yesterday. Just checked and the numbers have grown to over 131,000 in less than 24 hours. Probably won't make a difference but if anyone else is thinking of clicking on the petition link it probably wouldn't do any harm.

I've signed it, but have to say that 142,000 signatories (at the time I signed it) is disappointingly few in the circumstances.
