A question I've seen posed elsewhere

"If you didn't already have the ticket in your pocket would you bother trying to get to tomorrows game?"

After a bit of pondering I have to admit I would most probably be there but it's close call and even more certain no ones getting thirty odd quid off me for an away game under our current playing style

Interesting and in-depth article about Laurie, who I had the pleasure of watching in the flesh, on the BBC website https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58822497

West Bromwich Albion FC / Fulham tickets
« on: October 12, 2021, 10:12:07 AM »
Mods please move when the Fulham game has been added
A price of THIRTY QUID! (concession price from the full adults THIRTY FIVE QUID!) for tickets for this game, which is even more outrageous especially if compared to the Swansea concession price of £!5.00
The games gone I tell you. For clarity this is one away game I will be giving a miss

A different perspective on how effective, or otherwise, Val's tactics have been so far https://experimental361.com/2021/10/07/scatter-graphics-championship-3-oct-2021/
One for the statistically literate to ponder over which counts me out!

Sales dates for the Swansea tickets delayed due to a hitch in South Wales!  :o
https://www.wba.co.uk/news/swansea-trip-tickets-delay
Based on todays news I'd guess it's something to do with the Welsh government imposing the need to show a vaccine passport to enter large scale events and how football grounds will attempt to manage/police it
(Good luck with that Swansea by the way, after reading the thread about supporters at away games!)

Was the yellow card for the goalie correct by the laws of the game, from my perspective it's difficult to see it prevented a clear goal scoring opportunity?

You can't beat a few local derbies and Coventry are a welcome addition to the local mix in my view

Looks like I got the last Stoke ticket :)

All sold out tonight !
Passing time in the call queue (now down to number 14) had mooch round the tickets pages and found there were still tickets available for Stoke. Block B40 down the front so may have only just been released
Unless the ticketing site is f88cked again of course!

Yes, but not very well. I asked why they were restricted online and was told it was due to ticketing problems at the Cardiff end. I pointed out that I'd just bought two tickets off them over the phone which I wouldn't be able to do if there were problems with tickets at the Cardiff end. Was then told 'we're still having problems with the ticket site'  :D .
I thought to myself 'I know what I'll do, knock off work early and head down to the ground and pick a Cardiff ticket up in person"
Arrived at two mins past three and guess what? Yep ticket office closes at three  :-X

Did they explain what the online issue is?

Cardiff tickets are supposed to be on sale to HSTHs from today. I cannot access the tickets as it still states 'restricted offer'. I have however been able to purchase a ticket for Stoke with no difficulty.

Are any other HSTHs who are not away members having the same problem? If so, if anyone at the ticket office is reading this, make them available for sale to HSTHs as soon as possible please. Pretty please, with icing and a nice little bow on the top. Ta.
Same here got me Stoke ticket done and refreshing regularly to check on Cardiff

First half was poor with the aerial bombardment with the front 3 he picked who prefer to play quickly on the floor.
And finally booing at HT or FT when your top of the league is embarrassing ffs
It was quite disquieting as the first half progressed last night to feel and hear the low level disquiet keep building and rippling through the Smethwick as more and more aerial balls got lobbed forward. I unfortunately missed the Millwall match so lacked the pre loading that many of those around me suffered on Saturday
