bit disappointed fulham beat liverpool. if we are to beat bolton we could play for 9th place, but this chance is effectively gone now. nothing really to play for, apart from cementing our 10th place finish.

I'm very happy Liverpool lost again tonight, 13 defeat for them this season, we can still over take them.

Well we need to get four more points then them in the last two games, which is unlikely. Would of liked Everton win against Stoke, a draw means they are only 2 points behind us with a inferior goal difference.

Browsing the fixtures for ourselves and those around us, I think we will hang onto 10th - which was my prediction a while back.

Is “King” Kenny’s crown finally slipping?

Fulham clinch landmark win at Liverpool

Martin Skrtel's own goal earned Fulham their first win at Anfield as Liverpool warmed up for the FA Cup final in the worst possible fashion

And the defeat continued a poor run which means Kenny Dalglish's side have only won three Premier League games in their last 13

Liverpool have still only won five league games at Anfield this season

There is also now the danger that the Reds could finish out side the top eight for the first time since 1954, when they were relegated

At least that Roy Hodgson is not in charge there anymore – whatever happened to that clown anyway?

Wouldn't it be funny if newcastle got fourth place and Chelsea won the champions league meaning Newcastle would give up their place to Chelsea  ;D

Incredible goal by Cisse. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysuQdnA2X_Y&feature=youtu.be

It's a shame with Spurs and Newcastle winning Arsenal will probably need a result against us in the last game.

What a battle between Arsenal and Norwich - 3-3 with 9 mins to go. :)

Unfortunately this probably means Arsenal will be up for the game with us.

Sounds like Danny Rose is a West Brom fan - he's just tried to end Alan Hutton's career apparently!

Man City now 1 game away from the title but the permutations are all quite interesting going into the final game.

QPR have to get a point to guarantee survival and although it is very possible that they are now safe, they will still put up a tough challenge. The title isnt Man City's just yet.

Blackburn are down now. Not mathematically but even beating Wigan and Chelsea (possible) will probably still see them going down.

Wigan only need 1 point to be safe with 2 games against the bottom 2. They will stay up.

Bolton need to beat Stoke at the Brit and hope City beat QPR. I think they might be down as well.

Arsenal should get third now, having the easiest fixture of the three champs league chasers. The race for 4th is still worth watching though. Spurs vs Fulham and Newcastle vs Everton. I think it will finish with Arsenal and Spurs in the top 4.

I wouldnt have thought for one bit when Arsenal beat City three weeks ago, that City would be top of the table with one game to go.

Good man, let's make sure he gets a good reception if he comes out at the Hawthorns next season.

That's a pity as I had hoped that QPR would go down.....

I've a horrid feeling that their new owner is about "buy" their way up the ladder in a major way....  making it harder for us, so I'd much prefer Bolton to survive.

That is a certainty. The man has more money than he can spend in a life time, even if buying a PL team is a good start. It's the reason Mark Hughes was brought in as well. He got fed up at Fulham but he will have plenty of money to play with this summer if QPR survives, and it looks likely they will.

I hope their bid is accepted.
