Has Mancini used the post match conference to play those poor mind games by still stating United are the favourites?

Very happy to see United and Fergie lose this!! City may be trying to buy themselves the league title but is that much different than what United's been doing all these years. I could care less anyway at least it means United wont be champions. Just about had it with Fergie running the league!!

 The Time: 19.30.
 The Team Talk.

Right lads, we should have had this title sown up weeks ago but you fkers have been sloppy, at times I've been disgusted how sloppy you've been.
So lets get down to proper work tonight.
We can't let these blue cnts snatch it away from us now because they'll never let us live it down. They stung us on the anniversary of Munich and stuffed us 6-1, I don't give a fying naughty word what you do tonight, kick, punch scratch bite dive just get the naughty word outa here and win that title.
At this point Alex Ferguson steps forward and says, 'Cheers ref I'll take it from here'

Hilarious  ;D Was that Howard Webb? United missed him in attack today they only had one shot on target, if that!  :-*

I now do want City to win the title, as it would be three different teams have won the last three titles. I was expecting a lot more from United in the second half they were very poor.

United looked very average last night, they seem to be missin one or two big name players that there used to having.

They seem to rely too much on Rooney, previous years this has been shared with Ronaldo etc.

Think this summer for them will be massive, they need a few new 'bigger' names.

I have a feeling Newcastle will take a point from City however, just depends how United react against Swansea.

Hes dropped young because of the diving and maybe its cost them the title i think Ferguson is right in doing so but you can see when people say that players have as much power as managers and effect i also understand there point of view.

Yes I thought the yellow card was harsh and Rooney was onto the ref all night for one thing or another.

I hope all this nonsense cliched stuff about Man Utd's winning mentality can be put to be now. Altough I doubt it.

The team who wins the title is the one with the best team and manager, plus a little bit of luck here and there.

Where was Man Utd's winning mentality when Chelsea won two Premier League titles back to back?

Where was Man Utd's winning mentality when they were twice emabarssed by a Barcelona team in the Champions League final?

Where was Man Utd's winning mentality last night?

I'm no fan of City these days, but some times in nice to see lazy football cliches proved wrong.

City clearly is a far superior team to United. The difference is that Fergie knows the PL inside out while Mancini is still learning the campaign, and Fergie still has some major clout on officials etc but those days are ending now.

Sir Alex Ferguson accused Roberto Mancini of "haranguing" the match officials throughout the 1-0 defeat for Manchester United which the Scot admitted has put his team's neighbours in pole position to win the Premier League title.

The managers rowed on the touchline during the second half after a foul by Manchester City's Nigel de Jong on Danny Welbeck, who left on crutches. The fourth official, Mike Jones, helped to separate the pair, who were pulled part by members of their backroom staffs.

"He refereed the game," Ferguson said of Mancini. "He was out on that touchline the whole game haranguing the referee, the fourth official and the linesmen. The minute I come off the bench for a bad tackle by De Jong on Welbeck, he was out again. He can't have it both ways. He's been complaining about referees this season but he won't be complaining tonight that's for sure."

When this was put to Mancini, City's manager said: "Who said this? Him, no? He doesn't talk with the referee or the fourth official? No, never. I didn't speak with him, he came towards me, but I can understand. I said nothing against him, only spoke to the fourth official."

Goodness gracious, someone has been trying to intimidate referees? Thank God we have the conscience of English football, Sir Alex Ferguson, to set things right.
