Does anyone know what a points per £ spent (wages) Premier League table would look like?

Would make interesting reading and put the achievements of geniuses like Klopp and Guardiola into perspective, whilst appreciating a bit more those of the likes of Dyce and Potter.
Just found this from the season before:

1. Sheffield United – 54 points – £13,389
2. Burnley – 54 points – £35,469
3. Wolves – 59 points – £37,247
4. Brighton – 41 points – £44,032
5. Southampton – 52 points – £44,220
6. Norwich City – 21 points – £47,190
7. Newcastle United – 44 points – £47,415
8. Leicester City – 62 points – £54,080
9. Liverpool – 99 points – £55,935
10. Aston Villa – 35 points – £56,160
11. Bournemouth – 34 points – £56,405
12. Watford – 34 points – £59,562
13. Tottenham – 59 points – £67,136
14. Crystal Palace – 43 points – £67,151
15. Chelsea – 66 points – £72,333
16. West Ham – 39 points – £77,493
17. Everton – 49 points – £83,709
18. Arsenal – 56 points – £85,540
19. Manchester City – 81 points – £86,265
20. Manchester United – 66 points – £92,812

They should build this in and create a handicap system like with horse racing. :)

The big boys wouldnt like that! We'd probably also never see Villa or Wolves in the top flight again. Gutting.

Nuno Espirito Santo is in advanced talks with #cpfc and an appointment is close. Emerging as Palace's No. 1 target

I did say he wasn't going to get a "promotion" on the back of being sacked by the 13th placed club.

A mistake for me though, that's a huge rebuilding job without tons of money.

BREAKING: The Premier League have fined the 6 Super League clubs around £3.5m each for their involvement in the breakaway tournament. (Source: Sky Sports)

£3.5m is Peanuts to them!

Yep, that's a shamefully derisory punishment.

Would have preferred them to be true to themselves and done nothing, this is just pointless.

Wonder where the money will go?

Should have been 10 million for starters
Also a comment on Nuno, why would he be interested in CP?
Wolves are a bigger club surely?
I think this is about him and his people looking for big payouts, I must say I'm surprised at him wanting to move on anyway I would t mind him at our place

If that is the case then Spurs and Roma have effectively swapped managers which is not how anybody thought their year would end but football is a funny old game.

I have as much interest in the Premier League as I have in League 3 with the advent of VAR and players falling over in a stiff breeze League 3 probably edges it.

Hopefully that ends their interest in Perreira. I'm resigned to losing him, but not to our local rivals please.

Spurs also apparently sorted after reaching agreement with Fonseca. Opportunities now getting squeezed for Howe and Lampard.

Well both have turned there noses up at Palace already and in truth neither were going to get the Spurs gig. Lampard maybe to Everton but the last thing on Howe's CV is a relegation with a team that shouldn't have got relegated which is not quite how Everton see themselves.

Neither have any relevance to our own manager search although I think we have hit the point where I'd possibly take Lampard on the grounds that he is better than McInnes.
