Coming up to a Month since we knew Big Sam was leaving.

We are going to end up with some absolute dross, and deservedly so

Applied for the job though , more to it than above mate .

Looks as though Lai's calling the shots & now Jenkins has gone, there's nobody strong enough as a foil.

If we genuinely are reluctant to pay less than £1million compensation, then Lai is being unrealistic. Someone has to tell him that.
If it was easy, it wouldn't be Albion

I'm sure the Board knew he was going for much longer than that.

So long as it is not Brian Little after the Dingles have appointed Bruno Lage.

Alex Neil for me is the worst of all options that have been mentioned. Can’t say why just wouldn’t have any great confidence in him . Still don’t know why Lampard hasn’t been offered the job yet , given who the club has apparently rejected / been turned by .

Because he's holding out for a Premier League job and would not want to join this basket case..

Think we need more defined criteria to avoid interviewing unsuitable candidates. I would suggest:

1. Must never express any opinion on the board in particular Mr Lai.
2. They must be unemployed.
3. Should live within 5 miles of Smethwick.

Can we think of any other key criteria?

This is one thing I can never understand, the club will pay £1million pound on a player that may not play much or not at all (Kipre etc) but won't pay that for a manager that will be more important than one player.

Don't think it will happen but Nuno is still on the market

That's another strange one.
Said he wanted to be nearer to his family in Portugal and rocks up at Palace.
I think some of these managers are maybe just testing the waters

They are not interested in Neil because of last time.

This goes against the snippet of information released earlier this week where it was indicated it was a shoot out between Wagner and Neil

The circus is still going I see.

Nothing surprises me with this club anymore.

Here’s hoping for a left field appointment from abroad

Yep, i'd suggest thats why they went Wagner. Didnt want to pick Neil unless had to. Maybe they will now?

This is so Albion. The best Managers like Hodgson, Megson, Mowbray all arrived with the minimum of fuss the longer they leave the more of a mess up it will be.
