I wouldn't. We haven't got a game for another week, we're virtually safe from relegation and the chances of a top 6 finish are slim at best. This is our best chance of any form of proper success this season

Some of the suggested teams on this thread are very sad indeed. We are in a great position to have a right good go at this cup, and yet some of you are seemingly willing to give that up in favour of a slightly higher mid-table standing

Foster

Jones
McAuley
Tamas
Ridgewell

Mulumbu
Thorne
Odemwingie
Thomas
Morrison

Long

Regardless of what the Vile fans think of us, I'll always hate them 10-fold over the Wolves. This notion that they have to hate us for us to hate them is utter nonsense

I'd be more worried if that prat Lawro predicted us to win. Would take a point and I reckon we'll get one - 1-1 is my prediction

Don't suppose anyone's got or knows of a spare do they? Missed out due to the dates they went on sale being changed. Only missed Sunderland so far this season and am hoping that'll be the only one I miss all season. Just a shame there won't be another thousand there, but Jenkins' penny-pinching clearly knows no bounds, as we can see from our Man United allocation

Apologies to the mods if this is in the wrong place or you're not meant to ask for things like this on here, but I'm desperate!!

That lot should have plenty to see of Yeovil IMO, especially if any of them have first-team aspirations

If i remember rightly, all pubs round the ground are home only and are best avoided,

Tottenham is the game i have felt more intimidated out of every single trip i have been too,

Irish Centre is fine for away fans. Think it's on South Africa Rd

What I don't understand is that we've seemlessly looked acrosss the entire globe and looked at managers like Gus Poyet (who I really don't rate) when we haven't looked at Owen Coyle. His contract at Bolton runs out on June 30th and I have always admired his abilities at finding great players and general man-management skills especially. There is no question about whether he would want to come to us, is there?

Are you his agent or his Dad?

He's just taken Bolton down FFS

Who cares what the cockney media think?

The sacking of RDM and subsequent appointment of Hodgson was the catalyst for our progress to where we are as a club today

Same again for me

Thomas was sensational yesterday. Can't believe anyone could question his importance to our team

Doesn't hold-up the ball or link play half as well as Fortune. Jury is still out, effort and endeavour is there in bundles. He doesn't give defenders a minutes peace, but he doesn't affect the game as much as he should and that chance he turned down was borderline criminal.

Correct

I still reckon he'll turn out to be a blinding player for us, though

I'm hoping to go, just praying the tickets don't all go before members get a chance ...like the Wigan debacle.

Season ticket holders getting first dibs on tickets can hardly be called a debacle

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Our Away Support this Season
« on: April 22, 2012, 12:57:39 AM »
Missed Norwich, Fulham and Chelsea this season, and as others have said we've had good days and bad days. Overall, I'd say our support is well above average in terms of both noise and numbers, although we don't reach the high standards we've set ourselves in the past - but what side does these days?

In terms of atmosphere, the best would have to be Stoke and the worst probably either Man United or Man City. Stoke was an absolutely belting day, though. Non-stop singing, even after they'd equalised, and the sort of show that not many other clubs in this country could put on at a ground where we are traditionally rubbish.

I was in the lower tier at Man City and no one was stood up. The support was shockingly bad at the Etihad.

Agreed and I can see Liverpool being the same

Tend to get a different type (better) of atmosphere at the more less glamorous places like Goodison, Ewood, Brit etc and that's a shame really because it's games against the big teams when you're up against it that the players need the fans most.

Our away support seems to have been on the decline since about 2005, which is a great shame as when we're good we're bloody good
