If Lai didn't know and it's proved that got shafted on that loan then I would not be happy as that's crooked from Peace but surely Lai isn't that clueless? Same time it is Lai so maybe

I never believed the stuff Peace said about being a super wba fan etc. He always came across as purely a businessman to me

If I was Patel I would not be happy taking on other folks debts. I assume Lai’s borrowing has been offset in the price paid, but it would be nice to know about Peace’s liability

Lai didn't have any gripes with it. Same as Patel buying off Lai. Everyone knew the score

Not sure Lai knew to be honest. He had in effect bought the same shares twice. It would be good to have some clarification on the Peace ‘loan’, as in is he still liable? If not then is the legal action with S4A still continuing?

I understand your position regarding Peace selling it to the highest bidder, and he did bring the club into the 21st century, but all the ‘life long Albion fan’ rubbish and this murky loan business left a very sour taste for me. Complete lack of integrity.

Peace sold to the highest bidder. That was his right.

No gripes with that from me.

If I sell someone a car and they drive it through a wall and ruin it then I'm not angry with the person who sold it, I'd be looking at the bloke responsible

Do you have any gripes about him borrowing money from the club not to buy the remains shares he wanted in order to sell the club and then not pay it back? I do…

quite possibly our worst ever owner, that includes trev the shed and tony hale

To be fair, both of them were well meaning amateurs who had the interest of the club at heart. They just didn’t have the money.
If as is suggested there was something like 1100 investors under Lai, he was never going to invest in the club,  regardless of the fact that the Chinese pulled the plug on overseas sports investment because quite simply, he didn’t have the capital. He could hardly go back to the 1100 investors and ask for a bit up front for a new player could he?

So pleased about this takeover

Met someone who works with the foundation at a comedy night last night and they said in early November Rob Lake told them all at a meeting that the takeover was "very, very close to happening ".

It is 3 months later now.

We have had a few ITK clowns who have told us it was ‘48 hours away’ as well…..

Why do they do it?

First contact was with the chest. And as Cunha goes does the forearm slips upward into his head. Definite cause for mitigation to the TMO won't be upgrading the sin bin to a red...wait, wrong sport!

I thought it was a forearm smash in all honesty😂

Lucky to be on the pitch

I bought a USA style baseball shirt with baggies on the front and a massive old albion badge circle at the back. It's made by Starter and I have no recollection what possessed me to buy it from the club shop (probably on sale and I was the only sucker to bite).

I don't even like baseball as find the game boring and way too long.

In all honesty I have a lot of never worn wear brom stuff bought in the sales, but that is the most foolish purchase.

No you weren't, I bought one too - still got it, just waiting for a suitable fancy dress party to come up....

Never been as nervous in the last 10 minutes but the lads defended superbly, just read everything and stopped the momentum.

I am away for a few months now and I will admit to contemplating staying in, but I  am so glad I went, that was magical.

What a game winning save.

I, nor anyone around me in the East Stand saw that he made that finger tip save at the end.

Absolutely brilliant, drawing that game would have felt like a defeat.

I sit there too and didn’t realise he actually got a touch on it. Most of us sat there and thought ‘thank god he missed that’- what a save!

Joseph Parker boxed well to beat Wilder last night, kept on the inside to avoid the party trick. Also AJ looked very sharp and focused against a useful opponent. Enjoyed watching it for free but I do have a problem with SA holdin these fights, but money talks sadly.

Absolute garbage again. First thing we should do in January is send him back to Brighton.

Oh another one you don’t like, what a surprise.

And what is the plan to replace him given our current financial dilemma?

I have nothing but praise for BTA, very under-rated player IMV and going from strength to strength. Fantastic signing.

Likewise 82, love his enthusiasm and effort. Still learning and improving all the time. A vast improvement on the likes of Robinson and HRK.

Opening statement is an assumption on your behalf, remains to be seen how realistic KB & his agent are !

I think its a fair assumption though, if he holds out for the big money it makes our job so much easier.

Steve Cooper told he's been fired. Announcement soon.

Can't see him being out of work too long. DId wonders with that Forest squad

He will be very much sought after I imagine. As you say, he did wonders with that team considering he had no real input as to who they bought - put the jigsaw together quite well I think .......

It seems Schumacher is leaving Plymouth for Stoke. Shame that.

And there was me hoping that they would tempt Pulis out of retirement........

Attendance published as 23,298. Watching from tv can't believe that was accurate. There were loads of spare seats all around. The slightly quieter atmosphere in the stadium probably helped Stoke more than us.

Has been a bone of contention with me for a long time. Apparently they count all of the season ticket holders, whether you turn up or not. The figure actually reflects the number of tickets sold, which includes ST's, so not a true reflection of he number that actually attended the game, which would be easy to do as they are checked in electronically on the gate.

Cannot help but think that we should have won that, but their goalkeeper won them the point really with some crucial saves. That was a poor Stoke side who only took the lead through a wayward cross so quite disappointed really.....
