They have a game in hand and haven't conceded any where near as many goals as we have. When I look at our respective squads and see we're on the same goals for and with them only one point ahead it shows the task before us both in this coming fixture and for the remainder of the season.

We need players but at what price in the long term (Jeremy Peace has hacked my account, allegedly)? In the short term points mean prizes for long term investment.

Huge game, tricky fixture for both sides although they'll be buoyed by our capitulation to them last time out. The players really need to turn up this time around.

Fulham, although losing to Man Ure last night, looked a good, competent side with some decent quality players and probably should have earned a draw from their overall performance.

They will be a "tough nut to crack" and we will have to be at out best to match them.

 I'm not sure Gayle is the answer to their goal scoring issues though (same as he wouldn't be the answer to ours), he's never scored more than 6 goals in an EPL season and does struggle with injuries.

I've totally lost faith in this season to be honest. We just aren't good enough, dont have discipline, and i fully expect a defeat which is basically a nail in the coffin. Very negative i know, but this seasons just been a punching bag (Wolves aside)!

We can’t just give up, that would be unacceptable and we should battle until it is mathematically impossible to avoid relegation.

There is still much to be played for and objectives to achieve, albeit they are on a more desperate level and ones that insure minimum embarrassment to the club, players and fans e.g.

1. Finish as high in the Premier League that we possibly can
2. Secure the best amount of prize money that we can
2. Gain as many points that we can
3. Score as many goals that we can
4. Conceded as few goals that we can

But above all these, the primary purpose should be PRIDE!
