Heard someone describe the football as foosball which just about sums it up, whack it up they whack it back and teams are happy to accept the point against one of the 'bigger' teams in the division.

The real issue is I feel like we have set up with the 'B' team from last season, barely any of these players outside the defenders was first choice last season and poor recruitment has left us with a first team squad of forward/midfielders who should be bench options really if we want to be back in the prem.

Impressed me tonight, held the ball up well and seemed to link up well with Grady. Seems quicker than i thought as well, like to see him start with Grady and Robinson either side.

Well that was dreadful, what's happened to the press and intensity from earlier games? Game plan seems to be hoof it forward and hope they make a mistake and gift us a goal. Woeful.

Much better second half, Robinson put his foot on it and allowed us to play some football, he is absolutely integral to this team. Milwall came to frustrate us and kill the game and probably should of won if they weren't god awful up front. Dara O'Shea is a massive loss to this team, Kipre at fault for the goal should of won the header and the less said about his overall game the better, Ajayi not much better. You think footballers would of learnt after the euros that a slow stutter run up doesn't work, please for the love of god just pick and spot and hit it as hard as you can keepers have figured out that they just have to hold there nerve with these silly run ups.

Should of buried at least one of his two headers but put himself about to be fair, done more in this one game than Zohore in his whole time here so definitly an improvement. Good player to bring off the bench and hassle teams, reckon he'll get a few once he's upto full speed.

Adam reach... Jesus christ. I see what Sheffield Wednesday fans were saying now.
Dreadful isn't he? Spends more time on the floor.

Another good game, this system is suiting him very well as he doesn't have to defend as much and what can you say about his throw in's! Nice touch to celebrate with the bloke who kept picking up his towel :D

He's slightly better than Button, but there's not much in it. If we get a reasonable offer for him, we need to let him go. The extra funds would be of more benefit to the club.
Reasonable offer let him go but he is miles ahead of Button, I will be concerned if Button is our number one for the rest of the season.

Promising signs but worrying as well, defence and goalkeeper struggled but I can't see Kipre playing much and if Johnstone stays we wont see Button. Grady's confidence is shot to pieces, as soon as Phillips came on we actually kept the ball. Grant anonymous. Get a striker in, Robinson and Phillips either side and we'll do ok

Only reason I can think of why Kipre is in is because VI doesn't think Ajayi can't play on that side of the three, but surely after this he can't play him again.

Looked 100 times more threatening since Grady came off, Phillips had a great impact.

Better team the first 45 but need to put a foot on it a bit, it's like watching basketball at times very chaotic. Kipre grew into the game but awful for the goal, Grant absolutely anonymous really can't see his strengths at all.

He's literally blown because Marcondes was playing up before, saw a crowd of bodies and thought somethings happened. Bring back VAR!

I'll probably get a kicking for this, but I think Livermore will adapt well to VI's system. His best spell for us came in that few games under Slav where we pressed high up the field and he was playing further advanced and closing down. Just got a feeling if he works hard on his fitness again he'll fit in well with the press.

It’s less relevant now, following things such as the Rashford graffiti and some comedian’s comments (plus others), but I’ve been a bit uncomfortable with the coverage of the racial abuse and the stone cold belief it has all come from England fans.

Here is one example:

https://twitter.com/boosconf/status/1414355537781608449

A quick look through the messages reveals some sent by Italians, Indians, people from the Middle East and a number of accounts that have no profile pictures and who’s usernames include “sss.ctive” and “rss.777.7”. This is quite common in the other screen shots I’ve seen shared. If I’m honest, I’m not wholly convinced that even half of the messages are coming from people in this country. I’m even wondering if some of it is the work of the dark web agitators we have seen infiltrating the run up to elections etc. People who’s aims are dark and divisive.

I’m genuinely not trying to make light of the abuse, there has been some from within the country no doubt. I just hope that all 3 players and also any other young dual heritage kids in this country don’t get overwhelmed by thinking this is a large domestic movement, because it looks to me a lot like something else entirely.

With you on that one, mate, all the abuse I've seen has come from outside the country, not saying we don't have our share of idiots who probably abused them but vast majority of it has been from outside the country. Media likely using this to deflect the fact that we lost and turn the narrative around from "poor English performance" to "look at these horrible English fans" and stoke up even more tension between people.

We lost control of the game as soon as he took off Declan Rice, who was having the game of his life. I see why he brought saka on but game was crying out for Grealish, if you are trying to hold on to a lead, you need someone like Grealish who can drag it up the pitch, keep hold of the ball and win fouls where you can waste a bit of time. Sancho and Saka, I can forgive, Saka should never have been taking that penalty, would much rather of kept on ineffective Henderson and let him take a penalty, He's a captain and a leader and the type of person you want taking a penalty. Rashford inexcusable, I've never seen him do that stupid stutter run up before, why do it in a major final? I can see his thinking as he usually takes a proper penalty but why oh why did he do the stutter?

Been very impressed by this Hungary team outside of that 10 minute collapse against Portugal. Hard working and determination can do a lot for average players.

Bartley just stands there and gives him a free header.

I'm sure everyone will find someone else toblame though...
Nah that ones all on Bartley, shocking marking.
