Southend United can confirm an agreement has been reached to mutually terminate the contract of Liam Ridgewell.

Izzy Brown came on as sub yesterday. Wonder what was going through his mind?. On the subs bench for the bottom of the Championship side. Oh and i forgot Callum McManaman came on too.

I thought that too, particularly with the Smethwick reminding him of what they thought of it all. Still a Chelsea player though so he will still be picking up a sizeable wedge. Clearly not going to be a first team regular so it will be interesting to see what happens when his contract is up.

Hope young Nathan was watching and it served as a sharp reminder of what could happen to you......

Brilliant podcast, what a character he is. Doubt he could get away with that sort of behaviour these days - I love AJ

I will Listen to the podcast later with interest.  ;D

I was a little shocked by the podcast, like someone else said I had AJ down as a model pro and family man. How wrong was I! Great listen though.

Absolutely hilarious listen, I had no idea that AJ was / is such a nutter. It’s certainly not an interview for snowflakes to watch, as it will traumatise them.
I recommend it to anyone of a open mind.

It is a great listen, but I think calling him a 'character' is incredibly kind. Picking any number of four letter expletives to describe him is probably fairer.

I agree. See you next Tuesday sums him up. It is behaviour I would find funny as a teen, now its just strange.

I listened to about five minutes, found it rambling foul mouthed tosh, why anyone needs to swear that much escapes me, must have a very limited vocabulary, as a player, I liked him, but I think he needs to put down the pies and pick up a dictionary.

Interesting reading his interview where he talks about Pulis. Sounds like he nearly destroyed the lad.
