You may have said this in Jest mate but I did consider it. The ferry runs from Hull which is closer than West Brom so it would actually be less travelling than my normal journey down on matchdays !!!
Exchange rate is 10.2 at M&S in merry hill.
It rose 0.45% today, better getting it from the cash machine in Malmo.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business/market_data/currency/11/11675/default.stm
But then you have to pay 1.5% to the bank!
But the exchange rate is usually better. From a money info website;Cash machines, like credit card transactions, convert at the money market rate, which is always better than can be obtained by any other means. (Tourist Rates) What you need to know, however, is whether, and how much, any transaction charges levied by the banks would be. Banks vary on this, so why don't you ask your bank. It usually works out cheaper to exchange one large amount rather a number of smaller ones.
i use cash machines all over the world its not only cheaper (phone your bank ask about charges ) but you don't have to change money back ,Just draw out what you need when you need it ,i normally get one amount to start with then if i am running short on the last day just draw enough out for that day so as not to be left with loads of foreign cash
You are a true star supporter Greenock.
Flying out tomorrow morning, can't wait.
Exactly right, I'm allowing myself £100 a day x 3 = £300 out of the airport hole in the wall, sorted!
