An opportunity for Big Dave perhaps...

I hope not. Monk was very popular so Big Dave with his backgound and track record would get slaughtered...
What have we done?
And what have we become
In this distance from our Mother
From the gates of late Eden?

Nottingham Forest assistant manager Roy Keane has left the Championship club.

No reason for his departure in the article

No chance, I'll think they'll back him and have taken into consideration the transfer ban - it gives them time.

If they didn't have the ban they'd be going after a bigger name with more managerial experience.

He’s about to end his managerial career
He will get a decent payoff, but ruin his Chelsea legacy

The sensible move is put Benitez in there for 2 years, then frank once the ban is over , too much too soon for me

Didn't they do that a few years ago and the fans were up in arms about the appointment? Can’t see it work for the fans this time either

Yep - he actually did quite well considering, finishing 3rd and winning the Europa league. However, lots of their fans hated him due to the Liverpool connection, it was quite bratty really.

Monk, Moore and Cowley among the favourites to replace Lampard at Derby.

The Football League board has decided video assistant referees will not be used for the Championship play-off final at the end of the forthcoming season as the system is not being used for any other league games during the season.

Personally, I think that is a poor decision, given what is a stake for the teams involved

Don’t really get the clamour for this, if you actually look at the facts he did no better this season than the previous manager did last season

If i were a Chelsea supporter, and thank god i'm not, I'd be suspicious they are sweetening them up with Lampard before sticking them with something really nasty and horrible. As the old saying goes ' a good time to bury bad news'

Think Jody Morris would be a big asset for Lampard at Chelsea; especially if they are restricted to transfer movements. Will know the vast array of young players that are generally out on loan and may need to be utilised more and probably has a stronger coaching basis than Lampard.

Quite interesting that they dislike Rafa for not being Jose, but he got them to third and won the Europa league.

They also disliked Sarri for not being Lampard or Terry, but he got them to third and won the Europe league.

Chelsea dislike anybody who isn't one of their own.

Morris eventually needs to step out from others shadow. He has done well everywhere he has been so far and a championship club should take a gamble on him soon.

That rumour has been going on for weeks and seems too unrealistic, apparently Newcastle want £20 million too.

I doubt it will happen, he may even end up staying at Newcastle now Benitez has gone.
