Mulumbu and Odemwingie are modelling the kit so they must be staying, Olsson's not there though so he must be going,

Someone was going to say it sooner rather than later, I thought I'd get it out of the way.

Olsson is at the Euro's...

That doesn't explain Shane though but nevermind.

Usually have bought the new shirt every year up until last season. Won't be buying it again this season either. It's what could have been one of the nicest shirts for a while but like last season it has been spoiled by having the Adidas logo in the middle and the club crest to one side. Why can't they just have Adidas on one side and the club crest on the opposite side!? It needs symmetry. It sounds really petty, I know, but I just can't handle the wonkyness of it  :)

Not a bad shirt overall.

Ha Ha, I agree. I really wanted it to be like the Gothenburg shirt posted a couple of pages ago.

If its £45 again, they can sling their hook, no matter how good it looks (which it does).

Although by the amount of Navy they've used, I would guess a white away kit, followed by a yellow third (or red again).

Unfortunately it's not really navy yet again but one of Adidas standard colours (Indigo Blue I think they call it). Compare any of the adidas range with shirts from previous years and you'll see a massive difference in the colour.

Just seen it in 'the flesh' up Merry Hill club shop, it's not navy, kinda a deep purple/blue. Very nice all the same.

Went to the club shop today and saw it in the window. I took a pic on my phone but cant upload it for some reason.

I think its one of the nicest kits we've had in recent years. I like the navy sleeves with white shorts and socks.

My guess is we will have a green away kit, we havent had one before i dont think. I dont think theres a team we couldn't wear it against.

When we are relevant to popular culture

and the price list is set be the manufacture, not the club as it can be sold outside of club owned stores

A bit weird looking under the arms. Pete looks like he's wearing a bra.

One thing I will say is I think it would look better with blue socks rather than white.

Crap/No collar again, if they sorted that it would be a decent kit.

Collars on football shirts are completely unnecessary.

Completely unnecessary to play football or to wear as a leisure item?. I would suggest that the latter is more important or should be.

Good point.

Round necks don't necessarily suit the larger gentlemen amongst us. Collars are much better from a retail/leisure POV.

Arent the kits designed so they can be worn on the pitch rather than what looks good on fans?

If that was the case people wouldn't be compaining that it's not good to wear for leisure. They are designed to be played in first and foremost.

Well why are we picking colours that are better suited for casual wear? For example, plain one colour away kits instead of yellow and green.

The club has pretty much said that kits are designed to be suitable for every day use rather than match days only.
