Wolves fans won't be happy about this. Towards the end of the season Kightly was the only player displaying any real passion for Wolves. Saying that he is constantly injured and they are probably better off finding a less injury prone alternative.

Kightly is probably the only Dingle apart from Fletcher I wouldn't mind seeing here. Is a crock mind.

Shouldn't really laugh, selling Fletcher for a fortune will only help them in the long term. Still funny mind!

Why would he not put it out through a club statement?

He may be a good player but he is really, really thick.

To force the clubs hand? If he does it privately and they reject it, it then becomes difficult to force the club to sell.

This wat the fans will want shot of him and forces wolves to sell at a lower price.

I dunno Im just making it up lol

I dont know why players think they have got a God given to right to leave as soon as they suffer relegation. I think players owe it to their fans to spend at least 1 season trying to get them back to the premier league before leaving. I could understand if they failed to get promotion and then he said "ive got to get back to the premier league" but he is 25 and has years left. There is no reason why he needs to go straight back.

I hope they reject the deal and force him to have an awkward season at the Molineux.

Yam let we darn again

cue Leon Knight to give fletcher his "advice"

They will either
a, use the money well and storm the chump
b, sell kightly, fletcher jarvis, danielle lloyds chap and bank the cash = relegation scrap

shame :D

Couldnt agree more baggies. I think the sad truth is..while we want to believe...that players have in general absolutely no loyalty to clubs whatsoever. They just think 35 retirement..............how much dosh can I earn before then to make my life as comfortable as possible after football

Cannot understand why Fletcher has handed in a transfer request?

Is he unhappy at the Moulinex?
Can Wo1ve5 not fulfil his ambitions?

They are slipping off the radar (again) as far as I'm concerned  :-*

who doesnt dream of playing in the premiership? if i was in his position i know where i would want to to be - earning more money, testing myself against the best and keeping myself in the international spotlight - the premiership.
he is only 25 but one bad season in the championship and those clubs chasing now might not be there next year and he may be stuck in the championship with the dingles for the rest of his career. if they do come back up it is only one year but he probably only has 5years left at his peak not that long really.

Your right mate, and the likelyhood is that in a years time there is another striker that clubs will be looking at.

I think he is a very good player, who would get 15 plus in a better team. Think the Dingles should hold out for 14 million.

I agree, but he has scored in a poor Wolves team so like most strikers who can score, he will go for a very good price.

Kightly gone,Berra and Fletcher going, strong rumours about Jarvis going.Happy days are here again.
Never mind, they will have a nice stand to look at when the stuff on the pitch gets too painful.

I can tell youthat i work in wolvo and all the wolves fans had the least concerns about Kightly leaving, they told me he won't leave as he loves the club.I have been on holiday so don't know how they have taken it.

Mind you,if i visited the Molineux i would stay clear of the players entrance,i might get crushed in the stampede to get out.

Anybody feel sorry for them :D

No way if they loose more players will they get promoted. It will take Stale at least 2 seasons to stamp his authority and by that time the mighty West Bromwich Albion will be long established in the premier league

I think a player is intitled to 10% of the transfer fee but if you submit a transfer request you arent't.

I reckon wolves may have had a quiet word and said that if he hands in a written request and gives that up they will let him go.

It stops any fans who may have been unhappy with the club for letting him go blame him rather than the board.

Ebanks-Blake and Doyle will score goals in that league.

They'll be fine.  Top 6 comfortably maybe pushing top two.

I'm not so sure. It's a very difficult league to get out of (unless you're WBA of course!!!). There aren't really any stand out teams and anyone can beat anyone on their day. I would expect Wolves to struggle if they lose Fletcher. Out of the relegated teams I think maybe only Blackburn will challenge for promotion (if they can sort of the internal strife)...I would expect any of Cardiff, Notts Forest, Blackpool, Brum, Middlesboro, Blackburn and maybe Leicester or Hull City to be in the promotion places.

Totally agree
I expect those teams challenging last season to be the strongest, Wolves will do well to get a play off spot
